So heard BEST burrito in CA and had to try it. Didn’t disappoint best is a bold statement but we waited 45 minutes for our food and were not disappointed. The asada was good and other people in our party had the pastor and said the same.
I had to try the best burritos in town. As a Mexican and a food lover I'm sure I can make a good review. The burrito has very simple ingredients: rice, beans, onion, cilantro, salsa and your choice of meat.
The ingredients taste fresh, I had the carnitas burrito, they were very lean and juicy. It's definitely a good burrito BUT nothing out of this world. I'm not sure what the fuzz is about. No chips with it, no guac, no extra salsa. Add no phone ordering to the equation.
The first thing you’ll notice about the burrito, besides it being enormous, is the distinct flavor. This isn’t your typical Mexican food burrito. The seared cheese on the ends of burrito provide a satisfying crunch and the chicken was juicy and shredded. My wife tried the potato taquitos and as a vegetarian was completely satisfied. All
the ingredients were fresh and well prepared. Can’t wait to come back and try the carne asada quesadilla next. The inside is small and nothing to write home about, but clean and maintained, and we’re here for the food not the ambiance. 10/10 some of the best Mexican food we’ve had and at a reasonable price
Okay this mf burrito was made with love and hand rolled by a master roller. I mean this burrito was so good I had to stop and pray for the person who made this food. I mean if I could shake the person hand who grilled the meat to perfection. The rice was cooked perfectly the beans was amazing. I cried tears of joy eating this mf. Who ever made this burrito was summoned by they ancestors to make food. They are the master of burrito makers. All I can say is “GET THE ASADA BURRITO “❤️❤️❤️
Had their carnitas burrito. Got here at 5pm and they had enough to make me one. They were all sold out of carnitas after me. Try their carnitas quesadilla also. The al pastor and carne asada is great as well. You won't be disappointed.
Went on a Sunday afternoon. Street parking in front of across the street. Steady line, most likely from the recent publication as best burrito in CA. Got the carne asada burrito. They said the wait was 40 mins but was actually more like 15 mins. They will bring you your order if waiting inside or call you on your phone if you're outside. The burrito was hefty with carne asada, beans, and rice. Seasoned well but missing an "it" factor. Was a solid burrito but not the best. Would still recommend if in the area.
Best burrito in LA? Maybe? It was excellent. Get the steak.
This hole in the wall place has the best quesadillas I’ve ever had in my life. Loved their burrito as well which was gigantic. The way they cook / prep the food is a bit different from other restaurants but this is definitely a place to visit.
