Great restaurant for breakfast! Price anr good and the staff is friendly; they have vegan options and pretty much all omelets are gluten free- I only wish they had an option for gluten-free bread (good thing I brought my own each time I went).

Not sure if it is possible to be in love with a restaurant but I am. While living in downtown Long Beach for 3 months, ate here 3-4 times a week and loved every meal. Omelette with their great steak fries, sourdough bread was my go to meal. Excellent service as well. Love you omelette inn!!
Yes, I would go here again! Coffee was tasty and omelette was incredible. I ordered the Hobo and it was perfect. My only disliking was that the buttered toast tasted as though it had onion on it? Not sure if the cook used a knife used for something else to butter the toast.
We got there very early, literally when they first opened so ordering and getting our food was a little delayed. But once they got the ball rolling, staff is super nice and polite. Our food was very food and tasty and their homemade salsa condiment was really good with our breakfast. Portion was large we even shared it with sides of tomatoes and avocados. Coffee was good too!
Outstanding customer service, our waitress was so nice and sweet. Their fruit side is more than I was expecting, like 7 different fresh fruits.
Great food, good sized portions. It's slightly more expensive than what I'd usually expect in a diner, but the quality of food and coffee is good nonetheless.
I don’t know if the Omelette Inn was short staffed but the seating process is horrible by the time they came and read names for people to sit they were all gone and finally called our name, other than that service started a little bit slow but a lot better once she took our order and food came out quickly. My partner and I both had the Hobo and was very delicious and tasty and the pico de gallo is a MUST, best pico de gallo that I’ve had compared to any other breakfast restaurant.
Excellent place for breakfast, prices are cheap, food is delicious, 100% recommended 😋
