My wife and I came in for a little breakfast and was delighted at the swedish pancakes/crepes and breakfast buffet. The young lady who was serving us was very nice and inventive. I will be back to try out the bar in the back and some of there dinner options soon.
This place was a gem. Was not busy when we arrived and we got a booth. Lingonberry ice tea was very good and refreshing alternative to regular ice tea. I got the bison meatloaf and boyfriend got a burger both were absolutely delicious. We shared each other's dishes because the flavor was so good. Wish I had room for dessert! After we left it looked like they were closing to prep for dinner that same evening. When my family visits Kansas in the future I would like to take them here. Its on the main street in Lindsborg around other shops, art, food stops.
Wow, the bison meatloaf here is world class. Just take my word and order it. Never thought I'd be writing a 5 star review for meatloaf but damn this is on my top 5 most satisfying meals
Great place for breakfast even if your tastes don't run Scandinavian.
Really great food. We ordered the chicken satay, the cold smoked salmon board, and the Swedish meatballs. For dessert the pie was a custard with lingdenberry. All of it was amazing, we devoured it. I am Eastern European and the meal reminds me of my upbringing. The portions are medium so don't come starving and be prepared to spend $30-50 for two. They are closed 3-5pm it seems and we arrived at 2:53 and still were seated.
