Nice little antique store with a good mix of things. It’s a multi dealer top of shop. Worth a stop if you have time and like those type of antiques - more knickknack type.
All sorts of unique items to choose from! The staff was helpful and I loved the cookies and macarons.
Excellent baked goods! Excellent customer service! Excellent atmosphere! It was our first visit and though we only stopped in for the baked goods, the "marketplace" is so well curated and displayed that it drew us in.... Since we live only 30 minutes away -- we will be back and we will bring friends! A personable gem on RT 1 between Camden and Belfast...
My husband and I stopped in on a resent sunny Sunday and we purchased some pastries and coffee. We sat on the bench outside munching on our delicious treats and enjoying the sun. It wasn’t until the next morning when I was home, four hours away that I realized I couldn’t find my wallet. I was in a panic. My whole life was in there including my COVID vaccination certificate. I realized the Red Barn was the last place I could remember having it. When I reached the owner by phone she said they found my wallet on the bench outside where we were sitting and it was safe! She sent it to me Priority mail. Happy Ending! These folks have a lovely store, delicious baked goods, they’re incredibly honest and go above and beyond!
poor lloyd must be confused. this place is THE place if you want the best baked goods and bread in the entire area. better get there early because the word is out. if you want a tasty cheese or blueberry danish, yummy homemade cookies or the greatest loaf of bread make a beeline for this conveniently located house of deliciousness. we made the trek each and every morning during our maine vacation. thank you from the bottom of our food loving hearts! we'll be back.
Not as many antiques as I would have liked but they didn't claim to be exclusively antiques either. We did buy two slices of pie while we were there. Tasted very good. For a tourist town it is a worthwhile stop.
Cool place, really, really nice people. Solid baked goods. Macaroons were awesome and the size of my head. Chocolate croissants were a little dense and small for my taste, but crispy with lots of chocolate!
The chicken pot pies are divine. Full of chicken and vegetables, and wrapped in a flaky crust (calzone style). We stopped here in the morning and picked these up for lunch later, while we were enjoying the beautiful trails near by. One pie is good for a small/medium appetite. Pick up 2 if you're really hungry.
Great antique & locally made gifts and even better pastries. The sticky bun and croissants were especially tasty. Definitely stop here if they're open.
Such a hidden gem of a place! The pastries are to die for, and the antique shop is like a treasure grove! Got so many souvenirs and found a great woven picnic basket!
