Great Italian pizza. The pizza has a great crust the sauce had a fresh taste and good proportion of cheese crust and sauce. Server was nice and we didn't have any problems with our bill.
I was on a road trip with my parents. We always try to find the "local flavor" so we used urban spoon and Franks popped up. Needless to say we were very happy. Got there really late but they said come on in. I was gonna get a personal pizza for myself but my mom wanted to share so she insisted on the large. I told her it was gonna be a pretty big pizza which it was. After the first bite we both agreed it was the best pizza we have ever had. I'm glad we got the large cause the next day when we got back to our homes in Alabama I shared the rest with my family and the said it was awesome! 2 thumbs up.
Frank's = Lex Vegas Staple. Tony and his staff have been feeding me and my family since the early 90's. I'm not sure who these two out-of-town clownshoes are that left the droppings resembling two negative reviews, but they have no tastebuds, and probably have a GED. Every time my brother or I come to town to visit our folks, we order Frank's Pizza. If we don't, we cut ourselves on the wrists for our stupidity and forgetfulness. I have scars. The pizza hasn't changed, the quality hasn't changed, and the name hasn't changed. There's a reason for that. The pizza is outstanding. Mushrooms and pepperoni are all you need on a medium pie, and if you are feeling a sub instead, then by all means, have at it. You just can't go wrong. If you live in Lex, or are just passing through, stop by, you'll be glad you did. Besides, you're supporting locally, supporting a family, and to a longstanding joint that simply put: is a part of Lexington, Virginia.
Found Frank’s Pizza because the Wendy’s next door (our intended destination on a very long drive home) had closed the lobby, and we all needed a restroom. The kind staff at Frank’s were letting people use the restroom whether they purchased food or not. That’s their money going to water, hand soap, paper towels, and toilet paper with no reimbursement. So, instead of supporting Wendy’s, we ordered some slices to go from Frank’s. Now, where I’m from, when you order pizza by the slice, you get a piece of pizza that’s been sitting under a heat lamp for hours where the cheese is congealed and the slice is lukewarm at best. Not at Frank’s. We got two slices of pepperoni and two slices of cheese, and they were piping hot and delicious. Huge slices loaded with ooey gooey cheese and generous amounts of pepperoni. I loved the crust, which was thinner than usual, but soft and perfectly cooked. The perfect slice to fold and eat. It was so, so good that we regretted not getting a whole pie. I will absolutely stop again when I am traveling through.
Great spot for quick fast italian. Great 👌 job friendly staff even close to closing time. Covid friendly fine inn
Frank's has been around for as long as we can remember and it's always been good. We got a burned pizza one time and they made it right immediately. Nice people and consistently good food. They have a nice eat in area as well.
This is one of the best places to get a sub in Lexington. Although I haven't ate there since I moved from that area 10 years ago, as long as the same people are running it, I recommend the Philly Cheese Steak.🏆🍕🍽🌯
On my road trip from Pennsylvania to Texas, we passed in Lexington VA to have a dinner on the first day, it was a great choice the chicken Parmigiana at frank's pizza & Subs 😋 And we also ordered a small pepperoni pizza and it wasn't small really and taste good😆
It was good. The pizza was large and the sweet tea was so sweet I loved that but the pizza was very flimsy so I got my hands messy but other than that it was good.
I lived off of their fully-loaded cheesesteak sandwich during law school, so good. My wife loves the meatball sub.
