Really like this new spot. Part of my rating is the added greatness of their far wider selection awaiting once their liquor license is in hand. Coffee stouts and cocktails. The staff have all been nothing short of kind, courteous and patient while I mulled over my choices. The Thai iced coffee is excellent. And the pot pie is also, from Pig & Pepper Baking. Congrats Sarah & Olivia, and to Lexington for a wonderful new first time coffee bar.
Love the atmosphere and drinks here. Awesome coffee shop with great vibes. I ordered the Bees Knees(iced) and it was packed with flavor. Also highly recommend the Golden Waffle. It was so yummy. Husband ordered green tea and it was delicious.
21+ due to alcohol being served if you sit inside. Plenty of signs posted to give that info and please be prepared to show it to the nice people.
Great little local coffee shop. I was out taking pics of murals and came across this divine location. I got their Peppermint Schtick and the homemade syrup is on point. Super yum! Would definitely recommend.
Excellent coffee. I've been to practically every local coffee shop in Louisville and Lexington, so I can say with confidence that this is one of the best places to grab coffee. I don't normally get the boozy drinks; but I can say that the cold brew old fashion has a nice unique taste. My wife really loves the blood orange espresso--which I also second. And the waffles and whip of the week are also worth it.
The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming, too. I highly recommend it.
I moved to Lexington, Kentucky from the Dallas area in Texas and finding a new local coffee spot felt important to me. I've been to several coffee shops since my husband and I moved, but I can say without a doubt that Lussi Brown Coffee Bar is my favorite coffee shop to stop in. It has a wonderful, inclusive atmosphere, the staff is always friendly and helpful with recommendations, and depending on what I'm in the mood for, I can order a boozy or regular coffee. 10/10 would recommend. I tell all my Texas friends to come here when they visit. ❤️
Delicious drinks all around. A great espresso blend. Good coffee. Friendly baristas. Wonderful owners. I'm not sure what else you want from a coffee shoppe than this.
Their undertow will still always be my favourite drink. Try it. It will change your life.
