Our meal was fantastic! Both my husband's and my steaks were cooked perfectly and were delicious! The hubby had the fried oysters for appetizer and I had the crab Rangoon roll and both were amazing! Had to get dessert too - the apple pecan crisp - once again, fantastic! We picked a great place to celebrate our 9th anniversary!
Love these guys, love this place. It is difficult to stand out as a steak house restaurant these days... Malone's does it right. Bone-in Ribeye (yes it is expensive.. you are not at Shoney's...) is outstanding. I don't want to run into the crab the crab legs came from.... they are HUGE .. and awesome. And the lobster macaroni... order your own portion, you won't want to share.. I didn't.

Our server was inattentive, we had to ask for more water when we ran out, and he got my order wrong. I had to wait an extra 15 minutes for my meal to arrive.
Amazing atmosphere and service, but Malone's promotes itself as a premium steakhouse and boasts that it offers "the world's most exciting standards in beef," which in our experiences, is far from accurate. I recently ordered a 4.5 oz Filet Mignon (medium-well) and my wife ordered a 8 oz "Prime" Sirloin (medium-well), and both cuts were extremely disappointing (better options and value elsewhere in Lexington for accurately prepared and more flavorful steaks). My filet was overcooked and tough, and my wife's sirloin was seriously lacking in flavor. Although many drinks, such as the KY Mule, sides, such as the Crab Rangoon Roll and the Gruyere Potato Croquettes, and salads, such as the Lexingtonian (mixed greens, tomato and crisp bacon, with housemade creamy herb dressing) are truly exceptional, a steakhouse with Malone's reputation and high prices must serve topnotch steaks, and it has simply failed to do so, time and time again.
I love bhg and Malones in particular. We have been frequenting here for over 10 years, usually for special occasions and anniversaries. Our last visit 7/2 was for a 5yr anniversary. The service was great! Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and specials and I always appreciate a good recommendation. If your a bourbon can I'm pleased to say they now serve their bourbon with one large rock ice cube instead of the pellets it used to be. I had a steak cooked perfectly, onion rings and my wife had several sushi rolls and we split a calamari. Food was great, no complaints at all. If you get dessert to for the cookie it is life changing!

I just ate at Malone's Palomar for the first time and it was FANTASTIC. My table ordered calamari as an appetizer and it was perfect--fresh and full of flavor. I ordered a $7 glass of Cab and even it was superb. For my meal I hit the jackpot: a perfectly cooked filet and the best sushi roll (the crab Rangoon) I may have ever had. My boyfriend and I could not believe the flavor in that roll--terryaki and cream cheese (but not too much!) dipped in soy = amazing! He ordered the fried fish and it came out steaming hot and crispy, simply delicious. The entrees came with a BOTTOMLESS salad, the Lexingtonian, and I'd choose it over a side Caesar any day. We were blown away with every bite of our food--I kid you not--and it was only $65 for all of it! 2 amazing entrees (1 including sushi), 2 drinks, 1 seafood appetizer, all for $65? Not too shabby! I 100% recommend this place and am not ashamed to admit that I want to go back tomorrow night after the races to try their blackened mahi mahi.
Oh, and their service was terrific--very attentive and polite!
Good steak, fabulous baked potato, tasty warm bread with garlic butter, and love the Lex. salad. A bit pricey, but worth it for good food and attentive service. Kid friendly, too. A seen-and-be-seen Lexington establishment.

Perfect Patio. I love Harry's bar at Palomar Centre. Fun, open, and great menu choices. I take clients here often, and while the service is uneven, there are a few bartenders and servers that are among the best in Lexington. The restaurant manager always takes time to visit tables, which to me is an absolute sure sign that you have good dining experience ahead of you. He knows everyone by name, and there are a lot of regulars, which points to the popularity of the place.
Harrys Food is typical bar food, but everything seems home made. The chicken strips are hand cut, fries are very good, and burgers are about the best you can find in Lexington. Portions are excellent. The Aquasushi menu is is complete, and rarely have they served anything I wouldnt be proud to share. The Malones menu is a little pricey, but they do a good job on the steaks and the malones burger is HUGE.
Once you go, you will go back. Take a minute and meet Johnny Mac, the restaurant manager. Great guy. He will see to it you are taken care of.
Amazing, pretty busy in the summer. If your in a hurry I say just get take out. It's somewhere to sit, talk and enjoy a nice dinner. I recommend everything is great from appetizers, sushi, steak, pasta, chicken fingers, mini sliders, and dessert! Love that they have a rewards card too. Go all the time, plenty of convenient locations!

*** 5 Stars: Highly Recommend ***. Malone's! Enough said. This is an outstanding restaurant that is welcoming and warm. The staple of Malone's is the outstanding meat entrees & service. I'll let you in on a secret... they also have the BEST burger in town and its only $8.95. I am talking high end meat and absolutely melts in your mouth. They have something for everyone.
Good food, Good Prices. Malones is like old reliable. We frequent this establishment and are rarely dissapointed. The prices are fair for the quality and quanity. Service is good, usually, although can be slow at times. I will forewarn everyone who wants to go have lunch or dinner during the September and November Keeneland Sales and Keeneland race meets. The place is packed and you WILL need to make reservations. This is my favorite resturant of all three locations and my favorite "regular" spot in Lex.
