A friend brought me here for my birthday, and my life will never be the same. We started with the Crab Rangoon. Now, I know what you're saying, "It's Crab Rangoon, all Crab Rangoon is good, whatever." I, too, was like you once - ignorant and blasphemous. Now? I just added Crab Rangoon as my life insurance beneficiary at work for when I die from eating too much of Boba's Crab Rangoon. Next were the Spicy Tots. First off, I would like to apologize to everyone who had to witness me using the chop sticks to stab the tots like I was spearing fish - I am not cultured and if you take away my fork I have too much pride to ask for one but not too much to become a cave man. What I did to those tots was a war crime, but Boba's spicy aioli could bring about world peace. And I would never, ever use hyperbole. Finally, my friend went with the meat Pho, and I went with the BBQ Mi. If three weeks ago you told me you were putting carrots in my BBQ Pork sandwich, I would have told you I had a present in the car and had to go get it and never come back. I took my first bite, and the Rufus Wainwright cover of Hallelujah started playing softly in the background. The veggies and sesame bbq pork flavors came together and a single tear fell down my left cheek, like a cowboy in Wyoming watching the sunset or Ron Swanson eating the first bite of the perfect steak. 5/5 with the warning that after you finish your food and leave you will experience a gnawing sensation of something missing from your very soul and a lack of meaning in your life. I recommend bringing some home in to-go boxes.

What a great find! My wife and I finally had the chance to visit and eat. First of all we felt like a friend was cooking for us and invited us in their home! We sampled 4 or 5 dishes and was given a gift from the kitchen of steamed buns! The bacon fried rice is to die for, the steamed dumplings made in house are fabulous, the bbq bonmi scrumptious, and the fried rolls, crunchy and fresh! Please do yourself a favor and visit soon! This is a true find. We will be back soon (it’s worth any drive...we made the drive from Jay). Thanks for everything!

I am new to town and needed a commuter bike fast, (like before-I-returned- the-rental-car-fast.) Ben listened to my endless rambling and sold me exactly what I needed. The price was comparable to what I had found on Craigslist in the prior days' research, but without the endless calls/texts/emails, lack of responses, and scammers. And he even mounted the lock while I waited. Great LBS! I look forward to coming back over the next 13 weeks while I am here!

The service at Rainbow is amazing. Every time I have been in there, the staff has taken the time to help me with whatever I need. The service department is top notch. They have fit me in despite a full load of bicycles, and always take the time to talk with you even though they are clearly always busy with bikes to service. You can really tell they take pride in their work and want to make sure you are happy with the service they have provided.

No matter where I live or ride, I will always return to Rainbow for all of my cycling needs. The Grenier family and staff are incredibly kind, and their quality of work always exceeds expectations. I have been a customer for years. Rainbow is a company that is community engaged, and this is one of the many qualities that contributes to their outstanding reputation in Maine. Cheers, Rainbow!

They couldn’t help me this last time around, though they have in the past. They were able to point me in the direction of a Rocky Mountain dealer nearby and diagnose the issue I was having and the part I needed all for free and with a smile. Greatly appreciated and hope to be able to return next time for a purchase instead of an emergency fix.

They are a great resource to the community! I try to be my own bike mechanic but sometimes it's best to go to the professionals.

A really great bike shop, for both casual riders and harder core riders. This family-owned shop has some of the best and nicest mechanics around, but (most importantly) they also take the time to walk you through everything to explain what they've done, what you should eye out for, and really just teach you everything that you want to know, and all without attitude or snobbery. They have high end bikes and also cheaper bikes, but if you need anything that they don't already stock, they can generally get it very quickly (oftentimes the next day). They never upsell you on things you don't need, and they give great advice on what works and what doesn't, all with fair prices. Bike shops like this are exactly why it's important to support local bike shops rather than just buying everything online. They are a fantastic resource and are just incredibly nice, fair, honest, and decent people. I'm a huge fan and they're my go-to local shop.

Absolutely fantastic experience. My wife and I are "beginner" cyclists. I started by sending an email to Rainbow Bicycle about used bikes in stock John, the owner, quickly responded and asked a few follow-up questions about size, price range, etc. We went to the shop 2 days later, and what an experience. John and the entire staff was incredibly knowledgeable. He really took the time to understand what we were looking for, what our price range was and at no point did we ever feel pressured or like we were being "sold", he simply offered comparisons, pro's & con's and spoke from experience. About midway through, the shop learned we had a puppy with us and boy were they excited! After setting us up with two perfect bikes, he helped us take our bikes and gear to our truck and then made it a point to talk to us about trails, gear for certain weather, tips and tricks. All in all, I didn't feel like a consumer at Rainbow Bicycle, I felt like I was part of their family. I can't recommend this shop enough!

I am an avid bicyclist in the L/A area (the Kilted Rider!), and Rainbow Bicycle has gone above and beyond to help me keep my bike in repair and up to snuff for whatever mother nature throws at me. Nothing stops me, not rain, not snow. Rainbow Bicycle helps me make it so!
