Hard Hat Lounge

If you want to get off the tourist trail or you are a local in Las Vegas, it's time to check out the Hard Hat lounge. This historic lounge from 1958 provides you a "slice" of not only a local neighborhood bar and lounge but also a "taste" of a "well" established Las Vegas neighborhood watering hole. From the moment that you walk in you feel they friendly, neighborhood environment of the many regular clients and staff. Like all great establishments it starts at the top. In this case, Shannon provides provides the very motivated and uplifting welcome as manager from the moment you enter. While there, enjoy the authentic and historic artwork along the back wall of the bar. Legend has it that a couple was unable to pay their bill and made a deal with the owner at the time if they could provide a nice painting at the bar their tab would be settled! The best pizza on earth! I’m not kidding You won’t believe me so you’re going to have to try it for yourself. Seriously! Cystine is the most amazing bar tender. I’m not even going to post photos of her, she’s so beautiful. All in all, a great no frills neighborhood bar with plenty of history.

My wife said “I have been looking for a pizza moment since we got here (5 months ago, and this was it”. Neither one of us had ever had Detroit style pizza. It was amazing. Bar is pretty cool as well.
