Very authentic tasting Japanese comfort food. This place is known for the takoyaki, or octopus balls. I have to say, they were as good as the roadside stands in Japan. The okanomiyaki was also very good. The only thing that wasn't up to my expectations was the yakisoba. The servers were very helpful and attentive. Overall, we would return again.
Food is amazing! Friendly and knowledgeable servers. I recommend the octopus poke - great punchy flavor and octopus was very tender. Takopa platter is a good choice if you're unsure. And the Japanese pancake was outstanding.
Best Japanese food I've had in the states. Also 1$ draft Sapporo? Seriously such a nice break from the Strip. Service, food and value were top notch. I recommended this place to my friends and I will return if I come back to Vegas.
Great food and friendly service! I have only had Takoyaki once before but this place takes the cake, I highly reccomend the Takopa Sampler it was worth the price. The miso ramen broth was a little thick compared to other places but the ramen eggs and noodle texture was very yummy ☺. Servers were also very kind and helpful. Overall a great street food experience!
Their food are amazing! Just like what I had in Japan. Most important of all it is pretty cheap. That only cost about $60 for 3 people. Takopa is definitely worth to try.
Today was my first time at this place. I order the seared salmon underbelly (which was highlighted on the menu as popular) as well as the Tsukemen ramen because I'm a ramen fiend. The seared salmon was incredibly good, loved it. I'm not sure what to make of the Tsukemen ramen. It wasn't hot, but this was my first time so my next question, is, was it supposed to be hot? I know Japanese food and some ramens are meant to be served cold so I didn't want to judge this because I didn't know. The broth (more like a soup) was served on the side, not sure why they do this. I poured it over the noodles and mixed it up and ya, it was good. Liked the texture, but couldn't get over the fact that it wasn't served piping hot like all the other ramen places around here. Also the tamagotchi's (egg) was really tiny, like a little quail egg. Is that normal for Japanese street food? I liked the food so I got some food to go, spam musubi and a Japanese staple, takayuki. The takoyaki I wound up eating at home and it was good, not as good as the stuff I've eaten in Seattle or Tokyo, but it was ok. I haven't tried the spam musubi yet. For the quality, I thought the price of the ramen was maybe a bit high, but the price for the seared salmon and takoyaki were pretty fair. This restaurant strives to hit the middle spot, not too expensive, but the quality isn't the best either. Not bad, would go back again to try some of the other stuffs.
So far this is the only place I've eaten with Hiroshima and Osaka Okonomiyaki☺. Theres little difference between the two, the hiroshima have noodles While the osaka have none also Osaka's version they mixed the ingredients in before cooking while hiroshima they do it in layers. Try them both!
I been to restaurants who serve one type of takoyaki but this place have several selections!🤤 Like meeting that special someone, two souls converge in synchronicity hoping this is the one that gives me the longing for a different kind of takoyaki. The sauce and toppings made it delicious and a stand out compared to any restaurant but as you bite into it the similarities sinks in and it just your typical takoyaki .
If you want an example of a restaurant making the most of a small space you must visit this place. This 40 seat restaurant is one of the hidden gems of Las Vegas.
Getting a chance to eat Japanese Street food this good outside of Japan is rare. Their Takoyaki is certainly the star of the show. The restaurant's name roughly translates to Takoyaki Party!
I had the pork yakisoba and it was so savory and delicious. I also had the pork chuysu that was cooked perfectly. And the Takoyaki sampler did not disappoint.
This is by no means fine dining, but street food never is. You come here for bold flavors and a welcoming and informal atmosphere. And trust me, you will have a very fun time in the right company.
Enjoy and Ittekimasu. :)
Our first time ever eating authentic asian food. Honestly one of the best experiences. Not only was the food AMAZING but the staff was so nice and kind and explained everything when out food came. The food also was so well portioned that I didnt leave hungry or felt like I ate way to much to the point of being bloated. We will definitely be back!
Had an order of karaage and it was absolutely delicious. Damien took our order and he was super friendly and professional. Our food was out of the kitchen quickly and it was some of the best chicken I've ever had. Definitely will go back again.
*Update*
Went back that same night and ordered takoyaki and yakisoba. Both were delicious, though the takoyaki could have been cooked a little longer.
