This place is the best! The fish to rice ratio is the best I've found in town. The flavors are spectacular. The fish tastes fresh and just melts in your mouth. The service is magnificent. And, I believe he's the owner, Choo Choo is funny, friendly, knowledgeable and a great sushi chef. (Ask for his special that's not on the menu... Amazing!) Trust me, this place will not disappoint!
We love this place. Me and my husband actually get sidetracked when going grocery shopping and end up eating here. We bring our kids here and they love it. I can't give the staff and the extraordinary chef enough praise. They are amazing. The sushi is excellent. Absolutely the place I recommend to anyone who asks where to eat sushi.
Hands down one of the best sushi spots I have been to here in Las Vegas. Food was very flavourful, fresh, and very filling. Staff was great and happy to be assisting me in my lunch hour. Very clean restaurant and dining area. The only sushi spot I have been to with no rice options to choose from and including several no rice sushi rolls. Sushi hero, I will highly recommend this place to family and friends.
Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - Dancing Tiger Roll and Pink Lady Roll. The Dancing Tiger is cucumber and shrimp tempura inside with spicy tuna, unagi (eel), and avocado on the outside drizzled with a sweet eel sauce. The tempura is crunchy and the eel had a good texture and flavor. The Pink Lady has cucumber, spicy tuna, and spicy crab on the inside with tuna on top and a garlic ponzu sauce on the side for us to dip. This roll definitely had a kick but we couldn’t really differentiate between the crab and tuna since it was heavily seasoned. However, delicious overall!
Ambience: n/a - ordered food to go
Service: 5/5 - quick service and to the point
Value for price: 3/5 - we got the buy one get second 50% off but the bill still came out to $24.30 so not the cheapest place around but good food at least!
We really enjoyed our all you can eat sushi lunch here. I don't think there was anything we ate that wasn't very good. Portion sizes of the sushi is excellent, especially compared to the amount of rice you get in each serving. Nice thin slices, not too big or small. Great rolls, too! A fantastic selection of appetizers, a lot more than most places. Very good selection of nigiri sushi. Fast service. Good iced tea, too! It might be a dollar or two more than other places, but it's worth it.
This is by far the BEST sushi restaurant I've ever been! The service is great and the sushi is very fresh. You must try the Choo Choo roll
Best sushi in town!! EVERYTHING was fresh and tasty.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered the Sashimi roll. It's no-rice and "rolled in cucumber". I haven't had that before. OMG, it was the very best sushi roll I've ever had in my life! I could eat it all day long.
I also ordered unagi roll, Japanese lasagna, and Crazy Horse (added green onions cuz I'm weird like that). I've never had any sort of "burnt oven" smokiness or old/rancid oil taste from the cooked rolls. Everything is super fresh.
If I lived within walking distance of this place, I'd be in trouble!
This place in ranked is second right behind my fav Sakana. Only gone one time but I plan on going again soon. This place is all around good not really any misses. Their Dessert is better than Sakana. Because you can get more and they are good I would recommend this place so far to anyone and this is coming from the #sushiexpert.
I will give you a heads up though I heard they have some consistency issues that's why I had not gone before but I am hopeful this is wrong, or that it's been fixed by now.
Conclusion:
I recommend, I will be going there again my self. Hope it doesn't have consistency issues but for now its a must go in vegas. #sushiexpert

When Sushi Hero first opened, it was my favorite AYCE restaurant. The sushi, although simple, was as good as any a la carte Japanese restaurant. In fact, the quality was probably not sustainable as an AYCE proposition. Two years hence after Covid, the sushi and other menu items are still serviceable but decidedly just average plus compared to other top AYCE places. Service is still very good. Worth a visit if you happen to be in Paradise but not worth an out of the way drive as it once did. Other places closer to where you live would probably serve your AYCE fix as well.
Pleasantly surprised, it’s like a quiet hidden place, I’m glad I went in and tried! I’ve been looking for a great sushi place in the east south and now I found one!
Sushi Hero is one the top spot AYCE sushi places I go to. If I didn’t live in Summerlin I’d always be going here. I really love eating nigiri so I was especially excited to see that they don’t overload it with rice. This is the only place I’ve seen do this. It’s great because you can focus in the quality of fish more and not get as full. All the fish tasted extremely fresh and delicious. I love that they have so many appetizers to choose from. Also I’m obsessed with shrimp tempura so I’m glad there’s no limit to how much of that you eat. Lunch was about $27 with tip and a coke. Overall I’d highly recommend you trying it out.
