My first taste of Guam food and it reminds me of New Orleans style rice and Caribbean food. I ordered the BBQ plate. Sadly, they were out of their famous potato salad, so I opted for the cucumber/kimchi salad. It did not disappoint. I highly recommend on a hot Nevada day. Also, they have their own in-house drinks chammarro punch and a cantaloupe inspired lemonade. They also have canned soda and for free cold fresh cucumber water. Clean place with parking. Their in-house drinks are $4.95 which i think is a bit pricey...but very refreshing. You do have to wait 12 to 15 mins for your order. I guess food is made to order.
I've been a huge fan of this restaurant for years. I grew up in Guam so whenever I came to visit Vegas this place was a must. If you're not familiar with them, they cook to order so it's not fast food but it is definitely worth the wait! They've recently renovated a bit and I love the new changes. Red Rice will always be a favorite and when I'm needing a taste of home I will stop in. For reference, this visit I ordered their BBQ chicken plate with chicken kelaguen and cucumber daigo along with an order of the shrimp patties.
Been supporting this family restaurant for years! If you're craving chamorro food this is the spot to go to!
Ample easy parking the shopping complex right near to Island Sushi.
Friendly consistent service and not to mention amazing food! Thank you Chris and family for always going above and be
I was visiting Las Vegas and finally had the chance to eat at Red Rice. I'm from Guam and finding a Guamanian restaurant around the country is very rare.
I found their servings to be absolutely authentic, fresh & tasty and classically abundant as they are on Guam.
If you haven't tried Guamanian food, it is simple, but done right, so tasty and addicting in its unique flavor. And if you're up for it, ask for it to be spicy, that's just the island way.
Whether you're from Guam or just curious to try a new cuisine, please give these folks a try and I'm certain you'll be in for a treat.
It's family run, so the hospitality is genuine and the food is made with pride and love. Those are priceless ingredients.
Update:
Stopped in to grab some take away!
It is a small business restaurant, not a lot of seats but comfortable enough to enjoy your meal. Great service because they acknowledge you right when you walk in.
Lastly, the food... it's so amazing! You need to come try this place!
It is a great place to stop by after landing in Vegas or before flying out. It's about a 10 minute drive from the airport. Food is delicious. It's a small dining area but enough to fit a few groups of 6. Quality food at a good price with generous servings.
Super friendly staff! We ordered and then she asked if we ever had food from Guam. We told her no and she was able to describe our experience we were getting ready to dive into. Delicious :)
Reallyyyy good Guamanian food. I can see what al the hype is about. First, the spam masubis are the best spam masubis I’ve ever had. I ordered the Locals set and it had bbq mix of a lot with potato salad. Also reallyyyy good. The locals bowl was about $15.75 and the spam masubi was about $4. Lady at the front was super nice and gave me a free water bottle. Really good food. I would highly recommend coming here
Similar to Hawaiian food but with much better rice. The chicken, red rice, and house made potato salad were all yummy and this order was only $7!
I've eaten here a couple of times now and I can't recommend it enough. My wife is Chamorro and I spent a few years on Guam with her family and this food tastes like home. Everything is excellent, but the grilled chicken is amazingly juicy and delicious. Make sure to dip it in the finadene the way it's supposed to be eaten. Last time I was here I tried the octopus kelaguen and it was amazing.
