⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is now my favorite Korean restaurant for soups in Las Vegas.
Cozy, friendly staff, clean quality cooking. Good vibes, good food. Open till 3AM?! Yes please ✨
Service: excellent - attentive and friendly. My server Matthew was perfectly bilingual, and patiently answered all my questions. Very helpful/cozy/friendly vibe - this feels like a mom and Pop shop
I ordered two soups, one for dine in, the other to go.
1. Galbitang 갈비탕: excellent. Clean quality ingredients, generous amount of meat. The Korean daikon pairs so well with the short ribs. It’s a must try.
2. Gari soup: I’ve never heard of this, so I think it’s the house specialty. It’s a light beef soup, it’s not meant to be hardy or rich. Like a beef udon stock.
Kimchi: outstanding 11/10
Radish kimchi: good, perfectly fermented
My server made sure to time the takeout order to when I finished my meal. Good attentive service.
The owner also came out to interact with the customers. She’s very gregarious and you can tell she genuinely enjoys providing delicious meals - wholesome ajumma vibes 🥰
Atmosphere: cozy lighting, perfect music level, open and airy (refer to my pictures :) ).
Takeout: I like their containers. Leakproof and can eat out of.
Overall: This is my new favorite Korean restaurant for soups in Las Vegas. Cozy, friendly staff, clean quality cooking. Good vibes, good food.
Went there 8/24 Thursday night 3 tables came in at the same time the service & cooks did a great job. The dumplings soup came out boiling hot, our sides were full & our food tasted great. A clean well kept restaurant with friendly service, beautiful atmosphere with a tasty variety of Korean cuisine :)
Great homey service. Almost gives off that feeling of a restaurant you would see in Korea. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is just as great if not better. Traditional to a T here. Definitely recommend if you want Korea cuisine.
Overall: 4.6/5 (dine in)
The service here is great! All the servers were male but very friendly and attentive.
Gari soup ($14.99): They recommended me this if I wanted more soup than meat. The broth was super clear. My husband said it was one of the best broth he had and he's not a soup guy. I added kimchi into it and thought it tasted better spicy (sorry!).
Single Bossam ($20.99): This was so delicious! The bossam was sliced to the perfect thickness and just melts in your mouth. It can be elevated by eating it together with the garlic slice, jalapeno slice, & kimchi on top of a lettuce leaf dipped in ssam. *Chef's kiss*
Love their banchans, especially their kimchi and fish cake. Everything was good. We left full and satisfied. Would definitely come back with friends or family.
We've been to this place a few times and I seriously can't believe I haven't reviewed them yet. Every time we come here, we leave smiling and satisfied. It's really good comfort Korean food. On our latest visit today, we ordered bossam and beef rib soup because of the rainy vegas weather. We couldn't finish our sides because we were so full from the meats, and our server was concerned that we didn't like it. But we really were just so full, so we asked if we could take the sides home. Not only did she give us a to go box, she gave us some extra rice and bibimpap sauce so we could make our own bibimpap at home with all the leftover sides. Now if that's not going above and beyond, I don't know what is. We love this place and there is a reason we keep coming back.
Authentic Korean food, quick and friendly service!
Apps are free and our waitress kept asking if we wanted refills. She was super nice to us. Also, there’s a call button on each table so if you need assistance, all you have to do is press the button and someone will come right away.
First time here, everything we had was good with the right amount of flavors. The jokbal (had to look up what that was) wasn't what I was expecting, it was missing parts, but was still tasty. Definitely worth going back for more.
The wait at Nabe was too long next door so we came to try this place. We ordered the beef bone soup and spicy pork bibimbap. The food was not fancy but homey and comforting. There was only one server for the whole place and she didn’t have time to check on us at all during the meal. It was a solid dining experience overall.
It was not bad. Different, but not great. Could be better. Could also be worse. It wasn't great. Not exactly good either. Drawer stocked with silverware and napkins was great but would be better if I knew it was there before right away. Short rib was the winner everything else was just ok.
Excellent, very tasty, full-flavored, the most soft, Korean pork meats we had in a very long time. We came casually, not knowing what to expect. But to our surprise, the food was just incredible. It wasn't too salty, but we'll seasoned meat cooked to sweetness with myriad of spices which was excellent. Reminded me of my old days in Korea feasting on Jokbal (pork feet) and soft pork belly. The waiter kept filling banchan to our request of kimchi, bean sprout salad, green salad, spicy radish, japchae, fish cake, garlic, and green lettuce. Highly recommend to order combo dish of Jokbal & boiled pork belly.
