Café Rio doesnt do Great when it comes to vegetarian choices but if the person who’s serving you really serves it up with amazing goodness it makes it so much better, Oscar was not only super fun to just be around with his high energy, but he created the most perfect vegetarian salad that I’ve had a Cafe Rio and I eat here pretty often. Thank you Oscar!
Food was amazing I got a salmon & chicken tacos 🌮 delicious 🤤 , the store was clean even though their shirt staff they’re doing an amazing job. Keep it up guys.
Currently they has Taco Tuesdays where tacos are only $2.49. They are big and delicious. Two gets me full. You can add rice and beans and a drink too for a little extra.
Wednesday special is Tostada and drink for $9.69 here.
We come here often and we usually have good experience. We usually come in a little late night so they are not as busy. We love the sweet pork burrito, enchalada style with extra cheese, and their horchata. My little one loves their salad. The last time we came here, one of the staff was very and very helpful. 1 less star for the lady in the line that prepares the food initially, not very friendly and seemed irritated when we asked her if we could get extra meat. Overall, we'll be back since it was a good day ❤.
Oh my. This place took forever for us to order. You stand in line and order your food as they make it. But OH MY!! it was so worth the wait. Handmade tortillas.. yummy. The flavors were on point. And the chips and salsa was delicious as well.. very good. Will be going back.
I just love Cafe Rio. Their sweet pork barbacoa burrito is the best! I went there with the whole family. My wife ordered a salad, which is big. My oldest daughter ordered the nachos, my son order a chicken burrito, and my youngest daughter a kid's cheese quesadilla. Everybody was pleased with their choices.

Every time I go to the one on blue diamond I have to wait. If they are going to make fresh then I don't mind. At least offer me a drink while I wait. The manager told me I couldn't use my $10 reward that I earned on taco night. I called and the lady The website said I could use it any day I wanted. So we went back next Tuesday, and the manager told me again. I couldn't use it, but she was going to be nice and let me use it this time. What the heck. They were supposed to email her and let her know that it was ok. I know that towards the end of the night They don't want to be cooking full pans of food. I get it, but if you still have an hour and a 1/2 left before you close, there should be more than just one inch of food in the Pans.They didn't close until 9 and at 8 o'clock The girl was removing the Drinks in the fountain. The mango, horchata, and hibiscus. I finally decided to try the coconut shrimp. It was not good at all. I could hardly taste any coconut. I think I will stick to my shredded beef next time. Most of the time, my food is good. The pork is good also.
The food is absolutely fantastic. Home made tortillas are the best. The store is always clean and the staff is awesome. Very friendly and accommodating.
The Cafe Rio on St. Rose Parkway, I think, is better. The one on Blue Diamond lacked bottled hot sauce by the drinks, and I snapped 3 knives while trying to cut a burrito. Still, the food was good, as was the service.
Fresh good food. Going out to lunch has just gotten so expensive. $28 for five ala carte tacos and a regular drink.
