Got my katsu fix! Super delicious and not too greasy, the pork and chicken katsu super juicy and tender. Definitely will come again, fried oysters were a plus, super fresh and crispy!
Delicious! Despite Covid-19 restrictions, this small restaurant chooses to stay open knowing they can only serve max 16 people in their space! Great service and decent Japanese food. Overall a good experience for my family and I. The entrees are very large, so it should satisfy the majority of people. The dishes were good, albeit on the salty side for my liking. The waitresses were very helpful and accommodating. Will make plans to come here again.
Great atmosphere. Although there are only 6 four-seats tables and four bar seats, I did not feel too crowd or loud. Because of the limited seats, there may be some wait time. However, the service was fast, and the servers were very friendly. It was worth to wait for their excellent fried food, delicious rice, cabbage and miso soup.
The serving is big and the katsu is awesomely satisfying. Very friendly crew. :-) The place is small though. We need to wait for an available table for our group to be accommodated.
The food here was super excellent! It's a pretty small place with only 6 tables that have seating for 4 each, and a small bar for maybe another 6 to 8. But it is completely worth it in my opinion. The staff was really friendly and attentive. The food came out in a timely manner. You couldn't ask for more in a dining experience.
The service and food was really good. I ordered a combination of chicken katsu and shrimp, and my husband ordered chicken katsu with curry gravy. Both were very tasty. Our servers were very knowledgeable with a pleasant smile. We came with a group of 16 people and everyone loved what they ordered (that's definitely worth mentioning because we are foodies).
When you have the word TONKATSU in your name, you better have a really good tonkatsu. First of all, I was tempted by their special of the day. Fried Spam Musubi. Seems a little rich, right...not at all. It was lightly coated with some panko and cut into 4 manageable pieces. The furikake and spicy mayo balanced out the sweetness of the teriyaki sauce and the salt of the spam. What a wonderful starter. On the table was the tonkatsu sauce along with sesame seeds with a mortar and pestle. I like a ton of sesame with my sauce so this was perfect for me. I ordered the shrimp and pork combo. The pork was juicy and Soo tender. The shrimp was done perfectly as well. It was sweet and delicate. Could not ask for a better preparation. The service was on point too. My only complaint is that they're only open for dinner. No worries though, I'll still hold my cravings and go for dinner again!
Finally a place that serves great pork katsu.. Food was great! Service was awesome! Definitely a go to place. Only nitpick was that my miso was warm and got cold really quick but that's just me...
Finally decided to try this place! The food, price, ambiance and service are all good!
