This place was great! We got the restaurant week menu and a few other dishes. The first dish was red snapper tiradito and it was my favorite part of the meal even though it was an appetizer. The sauce was what made it so good.
Absolutely delicious and sad to see it go! The chicharrón (chicken) was so unexpected but so good... the rice is also super great, and the drinks are very good. Their pisco sour is one of the best I’ve ever had.
Service was amazin(Malik). Ceviche was delicious but a small portion. Lomo saltado was really well done a decent size. The yuquitas were amazing and free if you get the coupon desk from the front desk. The oxtial bimibmap was nothing to write home about but the meat was super tender and tasty.
Amazing! Everything (almost) was delicious. I highly recommend the yuquitas (potato cheese balls), chicken karaage and the lamb chops. Also, really enjoyed the whole fish and the charcuterie board, though the grilled octopus was disappointingly undesirable. The preparation made it a bit soggy, opposed to a lightly charred crunch. Overall, Once was quite enjoyable and is a hidden gem nestled in the Palazzo.
Located 2nd floor of Palazzo, I finally got a chance to stop for dinner. Its interesting concept of Japanese Peruvian food has lured me into walking in. Servers are nice, but steak was just meh. Appetizers and happy hour menus were more yummy, pork dish was good. They are generally small portioned.
We had the avocado tuna toast, the pork ribs, sashimi, & the Peruvian Arroz Chaufa (my personal favorite). Everything was absolutely amazing about every part of the recipe. The chefs and the bartenders know what they're doing here. The drinks were out of this world and our server was inviting, knowledgeable, and catered to us when needed. Pleasant visit; will recommend.
The server explained every single dish; it was great so we could understand the exotic names.
The food was good but not amazing. Maybe my expectations are high but this is more of a comfort food kind of place. The bartenders are amazing and super nice. The drinks are good.
Peruvian/Japanese. The service and flavourful small plates (recommend the fennel salad and the peppers) were fabulous, decent wine list and the best Pisco Sours ever!
This establishment serves tapas in addition to full meals. Every dish was a taste sensation. Exciting flavors, delectable texture, and impressive presentation made for an exceptional dining experience. And the attentive wait staff was the perfect complement to the experience. Even the drink was superb. They also have an excellent happy hour.
