There was a line to get seated at Coronado Cafe around 12:41 PM since they have these crazy price specials from midnight - 6 AM. My brother always told the family they had to try the $5 NY steak & eggs here which has gone up in price due to inflation but it's still very cheap.
My whole family got the NY steak & eggs for $6.45 which comes with a side of buttered toast. You can choose how you want your steak & eggs cooked as well as what kind of bread you wanted. My husband and I shared so we got medium rare steak and scrambled eggs. He got white bread which was toasted perfectly and went so well with the butter. We haven't had a simple meal like that in awhile so it was definitely a comfort meal. The egg texture was good but it was kinda flavorless so we added some ketchup or salt/pepper. The steak wasn't bad. For the price, it's pretty dang good and worth the wait.
Our server Lucio was engaging, funny, and looked so happy doing his job. He really makes the place lively so we appreciate his energy that late in the hour. Really great experience overall.
Small wait in line since everyone knows secret about spot selling the best leftovers for the low. Definitely a spot for adults to eat after a drunk night on strip or after work. I remembered trying late night breakfast here as well as the steak and eggs.
I was here for both leisure and work. Happend to be in a rush and had 1 hr to meet the client. Here to the rescue was the most timely and efficient staff. I made it on time. Standing ovation to the staff. Everythinv was great. Every single time I visited the restaurant during my stay!
Eggs were in point, served hot and tasty. Steak.. Depends on the cook, but usually 4/5 stars.
The mini shrimp cocktails hit the spot every time!
I still have to try the pancakes! And the cooked liver plate. What a variety!!! There's a plate for everyone, including me, yes I'm picky!!
The bar for singles is pretty good. I felt that I always go good service. Honestly the only negative is the drink server wasn't as attentive. A small negative, I am willing to look away from.

Amazing late night menu with amazing service.
The shrimp cocktail looked scary, but it was both tasty and fresh.
The burger was also delicious.

It's absolutely amazing. Staff was very nice / prices were very low / quality was 10 out of 10. From Midnight to 6am my steak and eggs cost $6.95. Best Casino resort we stayed at hands down.
Can't beat a steak and eggs dinner, and at less than $7, it's a must!!
Starting at midnight the steak and eggs special begins! Get in line early bcuz those who know will be there. On a Thursday (well I guess Friday 🤣) the line had about 50 people as we arrived. However, it did move pretty quickly, just about 10 minutes to reach the front.
Warning, your full party must be present to be seated. They may allow you to stand off to the side and wait for 5-10 minutes but safer to have everyone in line with you.
Ask for the steak "rare" to allow for a more tender steak- you also get hashbrowns and a choice of eggs and toast.
Service is friendly. Can't beat it, just go!!
Awesome spot for a late night dinner. The graveyard special for steak and eggs (21+) is so worth it. The food is really good for the prices and you can even replace the hash browns for fries. I personally don't like their hash browns...it used to be better but now they taste weird. However, the only downside is that there is often a line to get in, but that is to be expected. Wait is often around 20-45 minutes.
Great breakfast for $6.45. Coffee was $3.95. Place began getting busy at around 5.30am. Loved the atmosphere. I just wished there was more creamer for Coffee and brown sugar vs white sugar. Steak was really good. A lot of food for such a good price. The rye toast bread was really good. I will surely return. The place is clean, lots of parking and friendly staff
This cafe inside of the Southpoint casino is a great place to go for some comfort food. They have a bit of a flair in their food choices. I have never seen so many Spam options on a menu before! Interesting... I did try the Loco Moco... it was ok... not the best I've had... the burger patty was a bit dry and lacking any seasoning at all... The gravy tasted like they pulled out the powder and just added water.... so I've definitely had much better.... but in fairness, it wasn't the worst either. I did appreciate the proper poach on my eggs and the rice was good'n sticky... yum! For a restaurant so open to the casino it was comfortable. The service was good. We did get checked on, and refills were provided which made the experience a solid 4 star. They do have an asian menu that I'll likely try next time! Take it for what it is... a comfort food cafe.. I'd go back next time down at the SouthPoint Casino!
Garden Buffet was full so we was Coronado Cafe has full menu meals including breakfast. Saw promotion for 16oz porter steak 🥩. Service was friendly and attentive. My check was definitely reasonable 👍🏼
