Ok, let's be honest here...who would ever expect a phenomenal steakhouse located inside a property that seems to cater toward families with smaller children? I mean, Circus Circus wouldn't be the first property that would come to mind if someone were to ask, "What Las Vegas property should I visit to experience a good steakhouse?" Regardless, my family and I ate here on 24 Dec 2023 as a celebration towards the holiday season and because we've been wanting to try this restaurant ever since we moved to Las Vegas in 2014. When I walked in, it felt like we were transported somewhere else - you definitely forget that not too long ago you had screaming children running past you in the hallways/main floor. The employees, from the time we walked in all the way to when we departed were outstanding. And although all of our servers were extraordinary, our main server, Felix, did such a sensational job. The restaurant décor is very rustic and surprisingly well-maintained considering how old this restaurant is. Between the booth fabric, all the way to the lighting/woodwork, it's evident that the owner/employees take pride in ensuring this restaurant provides a comfortable feel to its customers. With respect to the food, I want to start by saying that the bread was fantastic. I've had many variations of bread at steakhouses all over Las Vegas and the bread here was warm, soft, and very simple. Trust me, I've received bread before where I'm wondering what I'm actually eating - this is clearly not the case here. We ordered the Grilled Garlic Shrimp, Crab Cake, Petite Filet with Baked Potato, 16 oz Ribeye with Baked Potato, Salmon Fillet with Garlic Mashed Potato, House Salads, Black Bean Soup, and Chocolate Mousse Cake. Also, all three of our main entrées were accompanied by asparagus; I suspect that this changes based on the day since every entrée specifies "chef's vegetable" with it. To note, the Grilled Garlic Shrimp is a must-have; the Black Bean Soup was also notable, and the Salmon/Petit Filet were cooked to perfection. Although my ribeye temperature, along with the seasoning were perfect, I wasn't as enthusiastic with the quality of the cut - seems more on the lines of USDA Choice, versus Prime. I'm not 100% if that's accurate, but the cut was underwhelming for me...yet, the flavor was still adequate. I do enjoy how this restaurant serves their main course with sides included - this was a change of pace compared to other steakhouses where sides are a la carte. There are a couple things that I feel are inaccurate information (or maybe it's not): (1) Both Google and THE Steakhouse website (through the Circus Circus website) specify this restaurant to be a 3-dollar sign restaurant. Frankly, aside from the dress code being "casual," I feel that this should be labeled as a 4-dollar sign restaurant based on the total I had to pay compared to other 4-dollar sign restaurants I've been to in this city; and (2) the menu on the website is slightly outdated/inaccurate. It doesn't specify the price of each item/entrée, nor does it contain several items that are actually available in the restaurant (i.e., two different sizes of ribeye/filet, crab cakes, and dessert items). The "perceived" negative items I've identified above are not indicative of my comprehensive rating, it's more of an opportunity for this restaurant to improve its operations here and there without eliminating the positiveness of my overall review. If you haven't been here before, you definitely need to give it a try. I promise, you won't have Bozo the Clown walking around making balloon animals at your table because you're in Circus Circus. Overall, this restaurant is impressive - I highly recommend this place!

My husband and I ate at The Steak House. The food was absolutely incredible! We were given a basket of assorted bread, which was warm and soft. Our dinner came with salads. They were huge and had a variety of greens with tomatoes, beets, onions, mushrooms, and croutons. I ordered the prime rib, medium rare, with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The prime rib was tender and spit on delicious. We were staying at The Venetian but completely recommend anyone staying in Vegas to take a taxi to Circus Circus and dine at The Steak House. The food is fabulous, and the service is outstanding!

Immense portions of high quality dry aged beef. Very satisfying meal, but you will pay for what you are getting. Everything was great starting with the bread & a shrimp cocktail appetizer. I had prime rib, but I’m certain the rest of the cuts are fantastic as well.

This is a true hidden gem of Las Vegas's high end food scene! Service is quite literally perfect. The food is beyond exceptional. The atmosphere? It perfectly captures the feel, ambience and aesthetic of a high end old Vegas steak house! I would place it in the Top 3 steak houses in Las Vegas! Why not number 1? Because I haven't eaten at Golden Steer (yet) and allegedly there's a steak house located in a property on the extreme southern end of the strip that is supposed to be at least in the same "zip code".

Vintage Vegas!! This is one of the few places where you can still catch the vibes from the Frank Sinatra, Rat Pack, and Marilyn Monroe. The service is as good if not better than the food. This that OG spot and like all OGs they are hidden in the cut. Located in Circus Circus, it’s like walking into a time capsule from the bygone era. If your wallet is light, you might wanna go somewhere else because this is high quality top notch dinning at its finest. The dress code is business casual. Bring your appetite and your appreciation because you’re going to, because you’re gonna love this place.

One of Las Vega's Best Kept Fine Dining Secrets!! This place has a class and charm that will behoove and amaze the modern foodie! Here is a Steakhouse that hasn't forgotten what a steakhouse is supposed to be. The room is rich with dark woods, hardwood walls, diamond tufted red leather booths, creating a cozy den-like ambience, romantic candlelit dinners, real gentlemen seating you, bartenders that perfect their craft, cuts over 3 week- aged beef with their very own meat locker display! The kind of stuff legends are made of. Having said the former, "The SteakHouse" at Circus Circus has been voted Best of Las Vegas for over 20 years and was named Zagat's 2011 Top Steak House in Las Vegas and received Zagat's award ratings for the 2014 year, as well as being named top 10 by The LasVegasSun.

Ate here the night we got married. That was 34 years ago. Loved it then, just as great now. It has windows to see all the meat hanging. You know where your order comes from. Great old time classic Las Vegas atmosphere. The insulation blocks all noise from the casino. Steaks were done perfectly. Their wine list is good, there are a few gems. The servers are all waiters and are wonderful. They really know what they are doing. Will return every time we are in Las Vegas. This is a bargain for very fine dining.

Went here last night, the service was fantastic. The atmosphere was great and the garlic mashed potato’s were delicious! Steak was cooked perfectly only complaint was the ribeye could’ve been thicker. A glass of wine was only $11, meanwhile at the Mirage it’s $14 and $18 at the Bellagio.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the steak house located within Circus Circus in Las Vegas, and it was an experience that I simply cannot recommend highly enough. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service that set the tone for a truly memorable evening. Let's start with the star of the show—the ribeye steak. The moment it arrived at my table, my senses were captivated by its perfectly seared exterior and the aroma that wafted through the air. As I took my first bite, my taste buds danced with delight. The ribeye was cooked to perfection, tender, and packed with incredible flavors. Each mouthful was a juicy, succulent delight that left me craving for more. What truly made the experience exceptional was the service. The staff at this steak house are true professionals, going above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my meal was nothing short of perfection. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about their craft. From recommending the perfect drink pairing to providing helpful suggestions, their expertise enhanced my dining experience immeasurably. The ambiance of the steak house is elegant and inviting. The dim lighting, comfortable seating, and tasteful decor create an intimate atmosphere perfect for a romantic dinner or a special celebration. The attention to detail and the overall ambiance complemented the top-notch cuisine, making it a truly unforgettable dining experience. To top it all off, the prices at this steak house are surprisingly reasonable, considering the quality of the food and service. It's refreshing to find a restaurant of this caliber that doesn't break the bank, allowing more people to indulge in an exceptional dining experience without sacrificing value. In conclusion, if you're looking for an extraordinary steakhouse experience in Las Vegas, look no further than the Steak House at Circus Circus. From the melt-in-your-mouth ribeye to the impeccable service, every aspect of my visit surpassed my expectations. Treat yourself to an unforgettable culinary journey and savor the delectable flavors that await you. You won't be disappointed!
