My husband and I used to go the Alley Kat more frequently when we were working on a renovation project downtown and we missed it so we stopped in last night. The Tuesday evening dinner deal is awesome and it gets me to try more things on the menu. I always love that they have some kind of stout on tap. It's crazy but they rock pizza AND salad - not many places can do that. I've had some of their other sandwiches and appetizers which are also great. My only complaint which really has nothing to do with the service or food is that we never get a table that doesn't tilt drastically from side to side from the feet not being leveled. What really matters is the food and service and both are consistently great so 5 stars it is!
Very nice Establishment. Owner on hand making sure things are in check. Great food,Atmosphere, and beverages. It's was a busy night with a bar crawl fundraiser going on and everything was on point!! You must try the pizza!!!
Nice downtown spot..only thing negative about it is the parking. I would recommend carpooling and or parking a few blocks down. The service is pretty good and they have different trivia/karaoke nights. As far as food, I would recommend their pizzas 100%....would not recommend the crab dip for seafood lovers.
Definite favorite of mine!! Great menu selection period!! Apps, tacos, nachos, pizza (the best around), Caribbean Spring Rolls (signature dish), salads, flatbreads, quesadillas, awesome wings, sandwiches, fabulous burgers, great craft beer selection, and some of the best cocktails in the city. The lunchtime buffet is AYCA pizza, bolis, dillas, soup and salad for just $8.25. Parking is okay with the garage directly across the street less than 5 min away. Nice inner-city/neighborly crowd. Definitely a choice for me when I'm in town. Try it, you'll love it!!

Exploring downtown and the sign caught my attention. Popped in for a quick drink just to knock the chill of the day off. Great staff, very friendly and accomodating, nice clean set up. I didnt eat but the wings beside me looked and smelled amazing and is the only reason I cant give it a 5.
A great bar food! They have daily drink and food specials (usually advertised on their Facebook page). They have a a few taps (about a dozen) and they keep a great selection on rotation. It's a casual place so no need to dress up. I'm currently obsessed with the loaded kat fries (they melt cheese instead of using the neon cheese sauce).
Good food and service, very nice experience. This place is loud, though! It was trivia night, but even after it ended, it was hard to have a conversation. That was my only negative, and if you don't mind a loud atmosphere, then I highly recommend Alley Kat. Get some pizza... pretty tasty!
Good dive bar setting in town, no parking. Went in about noon on Thurs, good crowd at bar and tables. Smelled good, food coming out looked good. I got pepperoni pizza to go. Pretty good .. liked the sauce n cheese and plenty of pepperoni for 2 bucks .. $13 total for what looks like 14" 8 cut pizza.
I love eating here I go every chance I can. The food is awesome. Occasionally you will experience the pushy waiter but for the most part you won't. Very very nice workers. They have an all you can eat pizza soup and salad buffet between 11-2 if you are looking for that around that time. Their menu selection is awesome when I go to order off their menu I go for something different every time and not once have i been disappointed. If you are every in the Lancaster city area and looking for good food this is the place to go hands down.
This is a good locals bar. It's not really downtown but kind of in the northern Queen Street section. They have really signature pizzas and they have them on great specials Monday night. The rest of the food menu is quite good also and they have several specials that you can share or mix combo stuff. They also have drink specials so they do a good job. We go there about once every month or so for the pizza and meet some of our towny friends. The employees mostly have been there for a long time so the service is good and knowledgeable. Beers are good cold and well done. Lancaster has a lot of really good restaurants and bars so the atmosphere here in Lancaster is very competitive and the alleykat does a good job. They have been open for quite some time so they know what they're doing.
This is a go to spot if you like pizza! ...let’s be honest, who doesn’t like pizza??!
They have a lunch pizza buffet I believe every weekday. You’ll have to call or check their menu to be sure. Smaller bar with a table section as well for family or friends to get together. The prices are average for food and drinks with other similar local spot. The biggest thing I’ve noticed is the staff is always changing. It seems like every time I go I’m carded again because it’s always someone new. I don’t mind being carded at 32 but it’s nice when you can go somewhere and they know your name! I’m a regular at a lot of spots and it’s that warm friendly greeting when you’re greeted by name as if you’re family. Besides that, check it out and see what you think.. Then you can give it a review yourself!
