Always go to the Fruitville Pike location. Ordered online and expected to wait but it was ready when I got there. Great service, place clean, always get my special orders right. Only downside- weren’t handing out that AMAZING bread lol. Will def be back. Best subs in town
I love these subs. Ordering is sometimes slow and getting your food is sometimes excruciatingly slow. It has been suggested that cross training with Jimmy Johns might help! :) But the bread is amazing. The toppings and quality of food is absurdly good.
I come here pretty often when I'm craving a sandwich. The staff is always polite and friendly. It does take a while to get the food, but I don't mind waiting. If you don't like crunchy bread that is packed with flavor then go elsewhere (like Subway) If you want a quality cold cuts and bread primo is the place for you.
I stopped for dinner with my daughter. We split a primo sized sub and it was plenty for the both of us. They were happy to put the extra toppings one half of it, which was great. My daughter, age 3, only want ham and cheese and nothing else. It tasted great and everything was very fresh.
True to it's south Philly origins, this is an Italian cold cut, mayonnaise should be banned here. The bread is always the treat, beware of sesame seeds if you are allergic, options available.
Delicious. I got a cheesesteak with American cheese and onions and husband got a roast beef. The bread was fantastic with the cheesesteak, as it held up under the heated and juicy toppings. Husband thought the bread was a bit stiff for his sandwich but couldn't deny the bread tasted great. Cost felt appropriate for what we got.
Never had a bad sub there, food has always been great! The employees there today however... they looked like they would be anywhere else than at work and they had loud questionable music on in the back.
We live in Harrisburg and drive down for a couple of hoagies at least one or two times a month. Much better quality and flavor than the Jersey Mike's and other sub shops around here. Definitely worth the trip. There has been a time or two where they weren't exactly what we ordered but we're pretty laid back and it hasn't stopped us from frequenting this shop. We won't be stopping anytime soon. Just got a couple today that were excellent. Would highly recommend the Italian Diablo if you like spice and we also get turkey, salami and cheese which is also very good.
The Gold Standard For Subs! Amazing bread with shredded lettuce and the best meats and cheeses.
Much better than I expected. I tried the Old Italian, my wife got the regular Italian. I grew up in Philly so anytime I see "Philly hoagie" outside of the area I don't bother. Didn't expect much, pleasantly surprised. Service was very slow, guy didn't even acknowledge us coming in until he finished making a sandwich and wrapping up the meat etc and putting it away.
Primo makes an amazing Italian sandwich. The meats, rolls and accoutrements are high quality and come together really nicely. Highly recommend the sharp Italian!
