I was legitimately surprised by how much variety I found in the brews here. Their drinks run the gamut of flavor profiles - dark, light, sweet, dry, warming, refreshing, boozy, sessionable. Despite it being a meadery I'm confident anybody could find something they like here. Add to that a fantastic atmosphere and super friendly staff and it's easily my new favorite drinking establishment in Lancaster.

Just got to this place for the first time about 3 weeks ago. As a total mead first-timer, I must say I really enjoyed the drink. Lots of different styles and flavors available. The owner, Willie, is super friendly, clearly knowledgeable, and obviously passionate about mead. Cool medieval vibe to this cozy establishment that happens to be right across the street from my favorite bottle shop, The Fridge. This could be dangerous ;-)

We visited Meduseld Meadery during a bus tour fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and had the best time! It can be hard to manage that many people at once but their team did a fantastic job. The quick service, fun environment, and great drink selection made for an incredible experience. We will certainly be back again and would recommend it to anyone! Thank you to the Meadery team for an amazing day.

Beautiful. Second time return after a interval of three years and it doesnt miss. They keep enhancing their catalog. Beautiful bottles that they fill it up with. I love their concept of the 4 sampler. It allows to test and drink and bottle what u like

I’ve just let Meduseld Meadery and felt I needed to take a few minutes to post a review. First Matt & Sara were very welcoming from the moment I walked in with my little dog Juni. I had called ahead to ask if I could bring my dog and Sara’s response was, absolutely, which made me happy as my dog travels with me. I got a mixed flight that consisted of two different beers and two different meads. All four were quite tasty. I also had something I’ve not eaten in many years. A corn dog and, though not a health food, it was good to eat with the beers in my flight. Being that it was a Sunday evening just an hour before they closed, my dog Juni and I were the only ones there which met my needs well. I’ll most definitely stop here again in the future and I recommend that you give them a try.

This was a fun place to go and hang out with friends. We reserved an hour for axe throwing. It may sound like a long time, but it went quick! The instructor with us was fun and friendly, and made us feel comfortable even though we didn't have a clue what we were doing! Til the end we were playing games and throwing bulls eyes. Top this with some good mead and a good atmosphere, it was kicken!

I was not up to par tonight very tired, but was able to stagger into here and have one beer lol I will come back tomorrow. These people are very kind a lot of history. About to meet Haul back in the day when they were all battling people with meat at places like this practice and eat and drink they make honey out of meat. MEAT I'm not going to correct it. Lol Siri is is out of her mind. These people are good amen. Thank you. See you tomorrow

A group of 7 of us went for a meetup. The drinks were all excellent though I'd have to recommend the Creamy Peaches and Vanilla Jordbaer. Our Ax throwing instructor was awesome and everyone had a blast. From what I'm told there are a few other similar venues in the area but I'd rather come back here than try the others.

Went here with our friend who lives here locally who had told us that they just started an axe throwing range. The owner was really friendly and really helpful in helping us choose what kind of mead we wanted to try on our mead flight. The bottles off mead to but to take home were $3 Then after that we did axe throwing range which was really fun! It was $10 for 10 throws! The atmosphere was casual and laid back and wasn't loud like other bars tend to be. When visited Lancaster again, I will definitely come back here.

My favorite place to grab a drink in Lancaster! Staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The mead is out of this world, with a wide variety of types and flavors. They also have beers, if you're a basic white dude. My only complaint is that the space is a little small and my loud mouth carries 😅. Edit: mead to go is fire when you're depressed. 10/10 Edit part two: they now have a rewards system to throw axes for free. Frick. Edit part 3: they're now hosting events in their basement. Local performing artists LFG!!!

Have always loved their mead but this was my first time ever doing hatchet throwing! Employees were very helpful in teaching me how to do it & respectful even though I was not that great at it.

They have an incredibly cool space. The staff is amazing and help you make excellent selections. All the meads are absolutely wonderful. You need to come here for a flight or a pint.
