I loved this place! It was a great atmosphere, with good food and good beer. The service was great, she wasn't annoying but made sure we were taken care of. We will defiantly be back!
One of our favorite places.. The bar tender they have is so sweet and creative. The food is really great and the drinks cater to anyone. Beer for hubby mixed drink for me. I'm on a mission to try every meal on the menu.
Lancaster’s Cheers. Most college towns have an old-time bar/restaurant that doesn’t attempt to innovate, but sticks to their guns and keeps slinging beers and daily specials. I stopped in one weekday and had a cup of chicken tortilla soup and half chicken salad sandwich on rye bread. Nothing amazing, nothing that blew my mind, but an easy not-too-filling option while catching up with an old friend. - -
This place isn’t going to be a “dining experience” and it might not be your top choice for a first date, but if you want to have a pint and grab a bite, all without spending an arm and a leg, you’ll do just fine here. Proximity to the Lancaster Central Market is key. My friend (a local) wouldn’t have taken me here if she didn’t think it would work for lunch, as she goes regularly.
This place is fantastic. I've been somewhat of a regular for 4 years now, and it's definitely my "3rd place". Daily specials including wing Wednesdays ( bourbon glaze is the best!), taconite, fish n chips. Friendly atmosphere, great staff - Val is the best server, and we love Hillary! Rotating selection of craft beer on tap, chill atmosphere, local music on the weekends. What more could you want?!

Affordable Pub Food in an Amazing Victorian Atmosphere. DipCo has been a downtown Lancaster gem for 20+ years. One of the best places to hear original live music on Friday's and Saturday's (mostly of which I would categorize as adult indie, Americana, folk, etc). DipCo is areas version of a Greenwich Village bar. Located in a restored Victorian home, the spot is one of the most beautiful bars I've ever entered and the owners do it justice year after year.
Choice in tap beers seems to be skewed towards IPAs, but they usually have a token wheat beer plus Guinness is a staple. The menu is typical sandwich, pub fare. They don't have a deep fryer, so no French Fries. There are enough vegetarian options and stuff like nachos, etc. that can be easily modified for veggie lovers.
I usually get nachos or the black bean burger which is flavorful, but on the dry side. Make sure you get it with a condiment (*cough, cough, the guacamole *). Food wise it won’t be your most memorable meal, but ithe bohemian crowd is ALWAYS friendly, even to strangers. Overall DipCo is on the short, short list of best bars in town.
Food was mediocre at best. Ambience featured really loud, obnoxious people at the bar. Understaffed and over matched.

I love this place.. Great lunch and lunch specials! Good music, great service, and I love the art on the walls. I could eat one of their crab salads right now.
Awesome bar, good bloody marys, nice beer selection, friendly service and great music! (well sometimes the music during the day is a little slow for my liking) overall a wonderful time!!

Where everybody knows your name. OK, our names are on our shirts, so everybody does know them, but at Dipco you can count on warm, friendly and attentive service, a solid, consistent menu, rotating draft beer selection and the most wonderful homemade soups in town - 2 different soups every night!

Wonderful food, drink, service and price! You can get Good, Fast and Affordable at the same time! Lots of high quality veggie option. I am looking forward to returning to try more of the menu!
We had lunch here while at the market on Saturday. We were able to get a seat immediately upon entering. The place has a good vibe. It's not a big place, so seating could be limited for a big party, but not an issue for us. Service was friendly and attentive. I ordered a chicken salad on a croissant with fresh fruit, and hubby had a pastrami sandwich. The chicken salad said it would be warm. It was hot but tasty. Nice spot to stop by if you are in the area.
Stopped here for lunch since I've been by this place to often but never tried it. Really interesting, historical interior and perfectly located next to Central Market. Prices were amazing and I was pretty satisfied with the two things I got! Feels better for dinner but lunch had a great selection of sandwiches, wraps and salads. Brie sandwich was good, but a bit dry. Pretzels with pub cheese appetizer was pretty good as well! Perfect for sharing.
Great place to stop and have a bite to eat. I had a Dagwood. Big sandwich but most delicious. My wife had fish and chips and the chips were excellent. The fish was good as well. Great service. Would recommend.
We visited for dinner recently. Their Old World Ruben sandwich was stellar. All the prices were very reasonable. Despite the venue being in the middle of rush hour, the service was attentive & friendly. The venue itself is pretty, but fairly small. The Dispensing Company feels to me more like a lunch spot - one that we’d be happy to visit again.
This local, long time hang out always has good food and service. It does get busy especially on weekends for lunch when Central Market is open and nights when there is live music. Try a Market Ally Ale brewed for DipCo. There is the a parking garage and a small lot just outside of the market.
A great spot to eat near the center of Lancaster. So many parking options very close by make it convenient to get to. Good drinks, food and service, all the staff had a smile on their face. Definitely worth a visit

This was my first time visiting, and I had an amazing time! The food was absolutely fantastic -- we had an order of mango Old Bay wings to start, then a blackened catfish sandwich and their signature LDC burger, which seems like a terrific cross between a traditional burger and a Reuben. The crinkle fries were wonderfully cooked and seasoned, and the coleslaw was terrific. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the beer selection is excellent, and our server, Sarah, was absolutely wonderful. In fact, she made the whole visit fun and enjoyable, as did her coworkers. Thank you!
Good food, nice atmosphere, and overall good experience. The reason for 4 stars was due to customer service. I totally get when things are busy and or that people have off days. However, our waitress was pretty rude and not friendly.. like at all. Her greeting was short, her responses were short, and her stops to our table were ultra short. She did her job and for that I can’t ask for much more, but she could have been a little nicer. I’d recommend coming in. Remember to just be kind. Customers especially, and of course employees. ☺️ food was great! Would recommend
A great spot for a casual bite to eat and is one of the few places open for lunch in Lancaster during the week and weekends which is great! Their food is pretty good - I recommend the nachos and and the buffalo chicken sub was delicious. They also have very reasonably priced drinks that are very good! Absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a casual spot for food and great service!
Good place for a casual dinner or drinks. Reasonable pricing and a large menu to choose from. I’ve been here multiple times and have had wings, burgers, nachos, tacos…
