I had never heard of not had a kolache before this, I was waiting on my friend to finish up donating plasma and I was craving a coffee and some carbs! Stumbled upon this absolute GEM of a bakery right under my nose here off Colfax.
I tried a chorizo, egg, and cheese breakfast kolash which and it was scrumptious. I also tried a blueberry kolash, and a caramel apple kolash, and two cinnamon rolls because everything was so delicious!
They have a nice little shop where you can pick them up and if you want they will heat them for you and you can eat there. I got a big cup of coffee to wash it all down and I’m so happy!
Two youngish adults running the counter, very polite, friendly, helpful, and quick!
I took my husband here to try for his birthday breakfast and we loved it. There are extensive savory and sweet options (most of the bakeries by us do not have enough savory). We ordered some for breakfast and some for the next day. We are already sad we didn't order more. We will definitely be visiting again very soon. My husband mentioned that one of the things he likes compared to french bakeries is that these are less flaky and crumbly so better to eat on the go or in the car.

The best way to describe kolache is having a delicious sweet roll full of your many favorite breakfast ingredients! Love to come here for breakfast any day of the week!!!
Be sure to come early they sell out fast. I would love to give this place a 5 stars but today I bought 60 dollars worth of kolache and they packed my food poorly. Be sure to request everything in a box! Other then that I highly recommend this place for a morning spot!
Wow! I stopped by on Christmas morning to pick up some gifts for our neighbors. The selection is incredible, the staff is so helpful and patient, and our neighbors loved their sticky buns. Shop local!
Very cute little spot with a ton of kolache variations, from savory to sweet. I came in close to closing time and the staff was very friendly. I didn't feel rushed, like how you do at most places during closing time. I ended up getting the Philly kolache, as well as the the seasonal pumpkin cream; the Philly was great the pumpkin meh. The big downside side is they didn't have cold coffee (but had it on the menu...) but they gave me coffee house recommendations nearby! Great staff!!
My partner and I went in today, and WOW. Kolache House is definitely worth a trip. We ordered the sausage egg and cheese, blueberry, apple, and jalapeño poper kolaches. Every single one was 11/10. You can taste the effort and quality the baker behind the scenes is putting into these tasty bites. Check them out!
YUM! I tried the Pulled Pork Kolache - simply delicious! The Philly Steak Kolache was a little disappointing - the steak was a bit mushy and green pepper and onions were needed.
They also have delicious desserts! I didn't try one - but next time.
P.S. Depending on your appetite - you may need two for a meal - they are so good - they disappear quickly! Nice service!!!!
