Alfredo (the team leader) gave us a wonderful experience! The chicken burrito for only $8.99 with chips was absolutely fantastic and delicious, great portion.
I am so sorry my previous rating was apparently a pocket review!! Because I did not eat at Rubio's that night, so I would not leave a rating for somewhere I did order food from. My son and his wife ate there. I got food for another restaurant in their food court and met them inside Rubio's. They enjoyed their meal and they enjoyed their meal. And everything was good.
What I can say is that the owner after seeing my rating contacted me and wanted to know what the problem might have been! Which I think is wonderful. It is very rare , Great customer service Rubios. I will be eating there myself when I am back in Laguna Niguel
Dined in on super hot day and Alfredo made extra sure that we were welcomed and taken care of. He turned a random drop by lunch with a friend into an extra nice, smile inducing afternoon! Kudos to him for going the extra mile to make our day!
Best breaded fish tacos but probably not the healthiest. My wife always wants me to order the healthier grilled. Kind of expensive for what you get, but we keep going back because it's fast and good.

Used to be great. Latest two take outs were so terrible ( over saulted , sloppy presentation, less food quantity), we will stop coming here. Hopefully manager can hear.
The food was very tasty and the service was fast! Everyone who worked there was polite and professional 😊 The only downside is the prices are a little high, but quality and customer service were excellent
Came with the family for a late night snack. Food was good and service was amazing. Kevin really went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. We will be back.
My husband and I have been enjoying Rubio’s since we lived in San Diego in the 1990s. It continues to be one of our favorite places on our regular rotation. The only complaint is that there always seems to be a lot of staff turnover, which affects consistency. We feel like we have to train the newbies ourselves sometimes. Haha!
