This is one of the best BBQ places to eat. You will remember the experience, and return again and again. Very tasty and mouth watering dishes. Every visit will be a delightful memory. Go here for the best dining available to the palate.
Dave did my wedding rehearsal dinner in 09 and when I heard his restaurant had finally opened, and I finally made it back to lafayette, I was overjoyed. Dave's ribs are the best on earth. I've had barbecue in texas, georgia, the carolinas. . . These ribs are perfection. I sob when I'm done eating them. The chicken thighs are just as good, more like pork than chicken. And the brisket, especially the juicy brisket, is the high watermark for brisket, period. Dave is an absolute master of his craft. Drop everything and go there now.
Staff is friendly and the food is amazing. I'm leaving the Bay Area and this was one of two restaurants from which I'm getting "last meals". (Picture is of remains from that meal.)
Had the ribs and brisket with coleslaw & collard greens. All of my food was delicious! The young man behind the counter was very friendly & welcoming. Great first experience, and will go back to try out their other offerings.
Best BBQ in the bay! I always come here for the brisket, chicken and ribs. Everything has been smoked for hours and you can smell it from miles away. Haven’t found a better place for bbq. The owner is incredibly sweet and definitely knows his Texas bbq!
Have gotten takeout twice. Both times the order was wrong. This last time half of the order was missing. That said - Brisket and ribs are very good and staff friendly.
