Good place for lunch soups or sandwiches. Clean, open, roomy. Popular with the Oil Center business and medical crowds. A good choice for a weekday lunch.
I am so very impressed by this little cafe. First of all, the service was absolutely incredible. Every single staff had a smile on their face and genuinely cared about communicating with their customers, how refreshing!
Secondly, the food blew my mind. You can taste the quality and care given to it. I ordered a club sandwich and it was crisp, succulent, and full of flavor. I had a bite of my dad's crab cake salad and was so impressed. There has never been a crab cake that I have liked; this one changed my mind. It was stuffed with lump meat that was not overpowered by the seasoning or breading and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
There's so much more I could say about the soup of the day and the different sauces I tasted. The atmosphere of the place was so enjoyable as well. This was an absolutely positive experience and I cannot wait to return!!
The food here is always consistently good! It's always packed but moves pretty quickly. They have good Lenten options for Friday's during lent including the Portobello sandwich which is one of my favs!
Can I tell you how much I LOVE Cafe Lola? I just wish I worked closer. The prices are awesome for the quality of food that you get. When I have an early day off at work, I usually hit up Cafe Lola for lunch and get a soup and salad. Everything is so good, the staff is very friendly and I have such an awesome time hanging out there and having a decent lunch. I am def a fan of Cafe Lola! LOL. I wish they were open all of the time.
Dining with kids is something that is common now days. Back in the day, kids barely had a chance to go out to eat. Going out to eat when I was younger was a special treat or for a special occasion. Things are different now, kids eat out often. Some have very sophisticated pallets at an early age. As a blogger, I enjoy eating out with friends, alone and especially with my husband and kids.
A great place for lunch. Lola's has a great healthy menu for a low price. I have been dozens of times and never been disappointed. At the peak lunch time there will be a line of 10 or so people, but it moves quickly. The staff is very friendly.
Consistently Good. I've been to Cafe Lola at least a half a dozen times and I think this place is a really good lunch spot. I've never had a bad experience here. A++

Just Right!!. In a day and age when every restaurant and concept is trying "to boldly go where no one has gone before" this place keeps true to it's core. The portions are just the right size and the seafood (seafood bisque) was not over powered by the spices, like what you find in most of the area restaurants. On another visit I had the chicken tortilla soup with a wrap and once again you could taste the flavor of the chicken and the southwestern spices were a perfect complement. The prices also fit the budget. Will definitely be back!!!

Quick bite before work. Haven't been there in years, and it was DELICIOUS!! Ordered the TLC Sandwich. So good!! Bread was soft and fresh. Will be back to try a wrap soon.
This was my first time dining here. I had the Portobello sandwich and it was so good. I would ask for a different side other than chips if they offer. I wasn't in the mood for tortilla chips so wasted most. Service was prompt. Nice atmosphere.
This is a fantastic lunch destination offering a variety of sandwiches, salads, and soups. You can't make a wrong choice from their menu, and the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming!
Even for a peak time (~12pm), service was exceptional and fairly “quick”! The food was delicious. The sandwich alone was filling, and the chips were a great small side.
Plenty of seating inside, and easy to order to go! Staff was kind and friendly.

Stopped in for a quick bite on our way back to Austin from Florida. Food came out fast and was great. I had the chicken salad Salad and my husband had a steak sandwich
Cafe Lola is simply the best! Great menu selection with lots of healthy choices. The Cobb Salad is outstanding, my favorite in the area. Great food and great customer service. Love me some Cafe Lola!
I got the crab cake sandwich with caesar salad, the sandwich was great and very unique. the salad reminded me of a steakhouse caesar. Loved the dressing, the romaine was vey fresh, and the service was fast/polite.

Food was amazing, but had a bit of a kick (it's Louisiana what else would you expect). Crab Cake was delicious and came out piping hot, steak wrap was great.

I ordered the vegetarian (I am not a vegetarian) sandwich on my first visit there just the other day. The harmony of it was so amazing I can honestly say I have not stopped thinking about it, and it’s been about two days. I look forward to going eat there again very soon. I also enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant, I am younger so it was up my alley. Very loud and fast paced. The perfect place to grab a quick bite for a great price! 💖
