Did you know if the regular seasoned crawfish ate to spicy you can have them rinsed?
The crawfish were spicy for all of us even though we got them regular thus the above revelation form the waitress. Still $70 for one five pound and one 3 pound order and a few beers just seems a lot but it is what it is.
Good crawfish and beer. Would prefer a more traditional setting than this but the crawfish are great. There is very little on the menu besides crawfish so be prepared if anyone in your party is not a crawfish fan.

Good Bugs! My friend and I stopped in at Crawfish Time for the first time tonight. Walking in the front door, there are two nice, screened-in areas for eating. Continuing on through another door, you find the hostess stand.
We were greeted by a friendly young lady and seated immediately. We were there right at 5pm, and it was a Wednesday night. Both of these probably figured into the lack of a wait for a table. By the time we left at 6:30, nearly every inside table was taken. Within seconds of being seated, another sweet young lady took our drink order and our crawfish order. There are no options for food other than boiled seafood here, except for a kid's meal.
We each got a 5 lb. order of crawfish. My friend asked if they had any levels of spice, but our server told us there was only one and if we wanted "spicy," they sprinkle red pepper on the crawfish. We declined that.
The crawfish were all medium and large. They were nicely spiced but if you're looking for heat, this isn't the place for you. We both noticed that the spice blend seemed saltier than most other places we've been, but that isn't a bad thing. It wasn't overwhelmingly salty or anything.
Rather than a server bringing condiments to your table, you go to a station that has everything you need to whip up your perfect dip. There are also 2 sinks for washing up afterward. The restaurant is decorated with lots of deer heads, and old school country music was cranking the entire time we were there.
All in all, this is a great place to satisfy your mud bug envie. Give it a try!
Best "Borrowed" Crawfish Ever!. In town on business and was just driving and happened to see the Crawfish Time. Parking lot was full so we decided to stop. There were 5 of us and just after we ordered our drinks, we were told that they had run out of crawfish! Then the owner/manager came over and said "Hol on, my frin has a sack he owes me and he is on his way." (Love that cajun accent!) Sure enough, in about 15-20 minutes we had huge, steaming platters of the best cooked/spiced crawfish I have ever eaten!
The place was clean thanks in part to the hole in the middle of the tables under which stood garbage cans just waiting for those shells. They also have a couple of hand washing stations on the wall beside the bathrooms that were really handy for after our meal! Non descript on the outside, non descript on the inside, but man oh man...if you want real South Louisana crawfish, this is the place.
Great crawfish. Thoroughly enjoyed our catered event by Crawfish Time. They were fully equipped and did not disappoint. We all had a great time. Will have them cater for us again as soon as it warms up some.
Decent Crawfish. I think the best thing about this place is the drive-thru. Where can you get drive-thru crawfish that boiled at a decent pace where on a friday night it only took about 20 mins to get our order. Other than that the crawfish were highle expensive, potatoes are very small with any addional sides at extra cost other than the two potatoes they give with the order. Very midly spiced but really good flavor and a pretty decent size. Overall I give a 7 out of 10.
Very Good Crawfish. Here in South Louisiana, if your crawfish are not good, your business is history. The upside of this is that there are a number of great spots for perfect crawfish around here and CT on Ridge is one of them. Our business is in Scott, so it is not a long drive to get there. They are busy, so you may have to wait a couple of minutes for a beverage, but they keep checking on you throughout your visit.
If you want great boiled crawfish then look no further, Crawfish Time is the place to go! The main menu is limited to crawfish, shrimp and king crab legs plus sides such as potatoes, corn, sausage, boudin etc, but let’s be honest when you come here you are coming for the crawfish! Staff is very friendly and the crawfish are very fresh and flavorful (good balance of heat and salt). Would highly recommend coming to Crawfish Time if you are looking for good boiled crawfish! Make sure you get here early especially on the weekends cause this place fills up quick!
Awesome food and service. Come by everytime I am back home during crawfish season. Was back home for a week at Spring Break and went in three times that week for great crawfish and ice cold beer.

This place is off the chain!!! staff is so friendly from the time you enter till the time you leave.They allowed me and my mom to come and sit 20 minutes before they were open, Constantly checking on how you are doing. This place is EXTREMELY CLEAN!!!, the crawfish look like they are on steriods!!! I ordered the 5lb extra spicy, with boudin, sausage and potatoes, could not eat it all...It is a must visit!!!
The BEST PLACE for crawfish in Lafayette! Crawfish Time is an authentic, friendly, and delicious place to visit. We stopped by two other crawfish restaurants but they were too corporate. This is THE PLACE TO GO! Definitely order 3lbs per person and the special sauce. Our server was so sweet and helpful. We appreciate you guys!
The best crawfish place in Lafayette!! They’re crawfish are seasoned & cooked to perfection!! The crawfish are always easy to peel which makes for a more enjoyable dining experience!! Our waitress Lola gave impeccable service!! After you’ve had your fill of crawfish, the hand washing station offers a bit of luxury with warm water and upgraded hand cleaner scrub soap!!
Best crawfish and shrimp hands down!!! The remoulade sauce is a great addition to dip your seafood. The mushrooms were so flavorful. Service was great!!! Friendly atmosphere. Shell shock leaves your hands seafood free.
Being stationed away for a few years, when I came back to visit family I of course needed to eat my fill of crawfish while in town. I cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant. The crawfish were outstanding (requested extra spicy and they dusted it well with cayenne 🔥). Our waitress was very friendly, the whole place is very clean, and the hand washing stations are super convenient. 10/10 highly recommend this spot!
Good seasoned crawfish Louisiana style. Almost good as mine out here in Texas 😆.
Crawfish Time never disappoints. The beer is cold, the crawfish are perfectly seasoned, and the employees always seem happy to see you. We will be back soon. My mouth is watering now.
