i will always love this place. nostalgic, good food, affordable prices. just one of my favorites my family and i love to go to.
Very affordable, I got the sesame chicken (which came with rice) and the chicken lo mein which came out to about $20. I ordered in house and it was ready pretty fast! I will definitely be coming back!
The food is excellent.. as it's only a takeout place you can't blame them for the Spartan decor. Very fast very efficient.
For what you pay for, you get some good stuff. Orange chicken is pretty good. And cheap. Broccoli in oyster sauce was well done, soft yet chewy. Mongolian beef was soft and chewy as well. Four lunch special for about $24 is a deal. And delicious soup and fried rice with them. Not bad. 5 🌟's.
We first tried their salt and pepper fish at a friend's house. We are hooked on this. I think it might even be better than salt and pepper chicken (or at least on the same level).
When you look at their menu, you do notice they have a few "salt and pepper" dishes. Maybe it's a specialty.
Unfortunately, anything else we have ordered from there is just okay. Nothing else has stood out so far from what we've ordered and nothing we would repeat order from them other than the salt and pepper fish or chicken. But we'll see...
We've been coming here for over 3 years. It's the only restaurant where my son will eat. He loves the chicken wings. I really enjoy the walnut dishes, my husband's favorite is the sesame chicken.
Food is a 5/5. Orange chicken is excellent, actual orange peels in the sauce. Portions are good. Always hot. Great prices!

One star off because, as mentioned in other reviews, they are buuusssyyyy. If you call for takeout the phone is often busy. If you beat the busy signal they often won't answer. If you can get through it's worth it though!
I don't recall the numerous times I have gone to Rising Dragon for their finest Chinese cuisines but each time I have ordered food, it has always been tasty and affordable! Last night ordered the curry beef with steamed white rice, the crispy beef with steamed rice, and a tub of hot and sour soup. All of that for $24! The portions are enough for a family of four to eat. Panda Express can't beat that!
Simply one of Paradise Valley's famous symbol of Chinese food! The lady has been enthusiastic and patient when I'm choosing food items. And when she says food will be ready in 10 minutes upon paying, it is ready either before that time or at that time. Either way, food is fresh and hot. Fulfilling and satisfying.

I’ve been going here for literally since I can remember (like 18 years). They already know our order every time we go. They have the best orange chicken, I’ve never had anything like it and it’s crispy and delicious. We always order the boneless salt and pepper chicken and that’s sooo good.
Been coming to this family owned restaurant for YEARS. Everyone is extremely friendly, food is amazing, and prices are decent. My favorites are the salt and pepper wings, cream cheese wontons, house noodles, and the mongolian beef. Thank you Rising Dragon!
