This place is so delicious! It is like a family diner cafe style. You gotta choose the foods from the counter. There are a lot of choices and they offer small size portions, so that you can try different things. The taste-wise is very very nice, it reminds me of my grandmas cooking. The foods somehow are a little bit heavy taste, but I like them. I tried their desserts before. They are super super yummmmm! Sorry I couldn’t really remember the dishes names. But please come here to try it out.
Best BBQ beef I've had, I didn't know what I was going to order, but gave this place a try and it was fire, food was a little cold but flavor was on point, wish I had some type of hot sauce.
So good! The prices went up this year, but still worth it. Best filipino point point and catering in Mira Mesa. I love that it’s centrally located so I don’t have to travel to National city to pick up food for catering. We love their food and don’t mind the 25 minute drive to get it or the Mira Mesa blvd traffic. I recommend getting there before noon and then reheating food at home (it will still taste amazing). Sometimes they run out of the best dishes by 2pm.
Not the highest quality, but good home cooking. Its fast and easy, and a great place to grab and go. I’ll be coming back
So good! The sisig, diniguan, isda sa tausig and turon were so good! Hearty servings and reasonably priced. Felt like I was eating Lola's food.
I come here when I get too lazy to cook and miss Filipino food. Everything I've had from them so far has been amazing and served in big proportions. Also iykyk sarap talaga ung sabaw :)
The line is always long and I get it. Food is great and staff is friendly and quick. It's a step up from the old Manila restaurant.
Great selection on everyday Filipino food. Lots of choices, and they taste better than just about all the other Filipino restaurants in San Diego, National City, and Riverside county.
I've been going here for about 14-5 years now and they've always been consistent with the taste with their food. The workers and owners are welcoming and nice all the time. And their portions are huge with reasonable prices. If this is your first time trying Filipino food, go the safe route and try Chicken, Pancit, and Lumpia (egg roll).
The best thing about this place is the customer service. There is just this hometown feel to it, and the man is really friendly, he really took the time to let me sample things on my first try. And he has this kind smile too. I also came in a few minutes after they closed, and the cashier actually apologized that they were closed. He actually made a face that seemed like he was sorry. I went to a nearby indian restaurant, and they rudely told me it was closed when I came in a few minutes late. I just appreciate the kindness here. And they are very generous with their portion. For the second largest they overflow the portion size. I just love this place. To be honest, 75% of the restaurants here in Mira Mesa have crappy service, but its nice to finally find some nice people. I'm definitely going to be a regular here. I already have been here 4 times in my first week. They're going to make a good $40 off of me a week if they keep this up.
