My 94-year-old mother loves their fried chicken livers and fried green tomatoes. She commented on the perfection of the fried green tomatoes, perfectly sliced thin, seasoned and have a nice crispiness. This is a great place to get good quality at a reasonable price. They have lots of other menu options like wings, chili dogs, etc. if you're not a liver fan. (ignore the cabbage in the picture, I made that myself).
I used to live and work near the Wishbones on Clinton Highway, and I remains one if my favorite fresh food restaurants. Yes, there is always alone, but trust me, it's worth it. They have the best Chicken tenders, the best fries, the best sweet tea, you get the idea. They cook the fries to perfection so that all the water inside is just steam but no oil gets inside them. It's amazing how consistently good everything there is. I can't recommend them more. And if you love chicken livers like some of my friends do they say this is simply the best place in town for them as well.
What a great place. I have this restaurant for years and always promised that one day I would stop. I stopped and I'm glad that I did. It was very clean. The lady behind the counter was super nice. I got the wings. They were a great size, prepared perfectly and tasted great. I definitely will be back.
Love the food and the service. But they usually always get something wrong with our order. No ice usually means ice to them, lol but that’s okay. Extra sauce usually means you just get the one and ranch instead of wishbone sauce means you get wishbone sauce. Again all good, but I think it would benefit them to maybe replace the speaker and headphone system and have staff pay closer attention to detail. We will still be back.
The food was good, the people were Great. They were a little busy but the staff was still upbeat when interacting with costumers and each other. I can most definitely recommend the Fried Green Tomatoes and the Sweet Potato Fries. The smoothies were tasty, but they're closer to Icees that smoothies. Overall, it was good. I'll absolutely be back for those Fried Green Tomatoes and the employees.
One of my favorite places. I always get the mild Buffalo chicken strip meal, and it's one of the few places you can still taste the crunch of the chicken through the sauce.
