I love this place!. The food is made to order, always fresh and delicious! They have the standard Cancun menu that can be found at other locations. They are great at specializing any order to meet your needs/preferences. I, the vegetarian & my husband, the meat eater are always happy when we leave. The service is great if Jorge is your server!!!!
I love this place!. I met a couple of my gal pals there after work last week. We sat at the bar and ordered a couple of drinks and, of course they bring the chips and salsa out. We didn't even order any food, but the bartender was so good to us. He just kept bringing more chips and salsa, (even tho we didn't ask him to). And he even boxed up all the chips and salsa that was left and sent it home with us. I would definately go again. It is a very clean place and the staff there were all nice. I have actually eaten there once before, a while back, and the food was really good !
Cancun, Welcome to Halls!. Since moving to Knoxville, I have been searching for Mexican food that's delicious. Until this location opened, I was saddened by the dismal options.
Twice, I visited Cancun's and loved it. The portions are generous; the food is delicious. The service is wonderful, and the margaritas are lovely!
I will definitely be returning!
The waitress was good, only employee we saw though. Food tasted good, looks good. I got Arroz con Pollo. The chicken was almost tender, but was hard to find under a barrel of cheese sauce. Otherwise excellent. Wish they had Pacifico on tap instead of bottles, but lots of places in town don't even have bottles. Lots of bad reviews, mostly mention the manager, who was not to be seen during our visit. All the chairs and booth seating are hard and unforgiving. If you have any spine curvature do not eat here.
I gave a 4 star but in reality it's a 2 star rating.
The waitress was nice. The service was good. I give a 4 star to her but a 2 star for the food.
The ambiance did not make me feel welcomed. I was even impatient while reading the menu. Maybe it was the lack of lighting. The prices were too expensive.
The salsa was hot (as in picante). In fact too picante as I had to put lots of sugar to cut the acid. There were not many choices on the menu (see pictures). And not much for lunch specials either. The tortillas were not warm.
I ordered the Chicken Fajitas. The chicken was cooked but almost had no flavor. For once the rice had flavor, but it was dry. The lettuce tasted funny and the texture almost tasted paper/plastic. The guacamole was ok. The pico de Gaillo did not have much taste. In fact there was not much of it, just a few pieces of tomatoes and cilantro.
Usually I bring home the left overs but not this time. As you can see there is left over on the plate.
I'm definitely NOT coming back here even if someone else is paying.
Update: I hope the lettuce is not part of the recalled ones and they used it because I'm not feeling well. And I hope I don't have heartburn later because of the salsa.
Amazing food and service, for a fair price. That's all you can ask for in a restaurant nowadays, and Cancun over delivered. The fajita nachos were AMAZING, and the cold drinks kept coming. Top-tier dining establishment.
This restaurant is my elderly momma's favorite place to eat on the rare occasions she feels like getting out of her home for. The owner and staff treat her like adored family. They know where she likes to sit and eat when they see us coming the sidewalk.
