Awesome spot, great food, great music & atmosphere, they're ready for anything you need. You name it, they got it. 5 stars in my book.
Islandmix is a small but nice lounge in the Kissimmee area that offers a decent variety of Caribbean meals. My personal favorite happens to be the jerk lamb fried rice (extra spicy) which I must say out of everything I've had on the menu I tend to order again and again every time I visit. The bars also. With a good selection of beers and hard liquor. On most weekends you can find it to be a really nice neighborhood hangout if you don't like to travel to Orlando.
We went there with some friends and had dinner. I wish they had more menu choices since I am a vegetarian, but the food was good. The prices were reasonable as well. They had a nice DJ playing all the old school tunes. We really enjoyed ourselves. Definitely will return.

Very nice venue! I visited during a Halloween party. The vibes are always up, staff is very effective, and engaging! Was unable to try the food but partied very hard my next visit will def have me trying the menu! Bringing friends next time.
Great food. Dropped in for late dinner on a Thursday night.. I like the vibe will be coming back on the weekend to enjoy some music. Finding this place means no more driving to downtown for a West Indian vibe since I live in Poinciana.
Great restaurant. Very friendly service & the food taste great. Also, great value for your money ( lots of food in your platter). The owner is a very professional & down to earth person. He came and spoke to us, getting our feedback of his busy. That’s customer service.
A true gem! When I walked in and saw the place was set up like a lounge, I thought the food probably would be terrible. I was wrong!! Great portion size and delicious flavors. Had the jerk lamb fried rice and it did not disappoint! Also, must try the Pholourie appetizer 👌🏾
Doubles, curry goat, curry chicken, roti.... all were delicious. I would steer away from the black pudding which I expected to be below average anyway but still had to try. Portions were good and prices were fair. Owner was very friendly!
This time I didn't go for the food, but went there for a HypaSounds concert. The party went late. It's not a young crowd, but then again it was a ticketed special event so that might have something to do with it. I will have to go back when I'm near Kissimmee and try out their food. Their bartender knew how to pour drinks though! Five stars for the good time.
