great sandwiches. this was my second time visiting Key West and this was recommended again by locals as the best place to find a great Cuban sandwich. felt full when leaving, i'll definitely come back if ever in KW again!
Fantastic spot for a quick bite or coffee!
We had the iced cafe con leche and it was so great we had to come back the next day for more. Also we got egg & cheese on croissants and they were the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. Perfectly flaky croissant & fluffy eggs with melty cheese- it doesn’t get any better than this! Can’t wait to come back for more! 🧀
Sandy's Cafe is one of my favorite places around Key West for Tacos or Cuban sandwiches. The portions are larger than most places around town. Outdoor barstools only for seating. I usually order my food to go, since it's so hot in Key West. They also offer delivery service.
This was a fantastic stop for a Cuban sandwich! The sandwiches were extremely filling, I could only eat half. The staff were friendly and the food came fairly quickly.
Shake it off! Let’s start by saying the shakes we ordered tasted great. It took almost 20 minutes to get our shakes. The fruit used was not fresh fruit, but poured out of a bag in frozen blocks. We stopped by randomly on the bicycles. Staff wasn’t the happiest or most tentative. I will stop by at some point in future to try the food, but won’t go out of the way. Customer service is very important on how you reflect to your customers.
Super friendly, quick service, and delicious food
Highly recommend
Authentic and delicious Cuban sandwiches. Excellent iced coffee selections. Being part of a laundromat adds to the unique quirky Key West vibe.
Best Cuban sandwich in the Keys. I lived in Cuba for 4 years and know my Cubans.
Several people who are local to key west said to come here for the best Cuban sandwich. It did NOT disappoint. The pork on the sandwich had so flavor! Their Cuban mix sandwich is has a few additions from a traditional Cuban, but it’s an award winning sandwich (the staff explained when I asked about it not being traditional). The staff was very friendly. It’s off the beating path but we were able to drive there in a golf cart and it was about 6 minutes from Duval. This is a must visit if you like to eat where the locals eat!

We stopped at Sandy’s for some Cuban Coffee and a bagel. It was not open yet when we arrived but staff asked us to wait 2 minutes and they opened to make our coffee.
We were greeted by Monica, she was very polite & personable! Cuban coffee was delicious along with our bagel. Thank you Monica for the EXCELLENT service you provided us. This is a must while your in Key West! Now back to Texas.
