Breathe Cocktail Lounge

Right from the start, I come upon a unique setting, with the feel that's warm and inviting. Almost feels as if I'm on the streets of San Francisco where art galaries line the hills and people flow through them with passionate hearts. From the outside looking in its hard to tell if this place is an eclectic coffee shop, intriguing art gallery, or note worthy bar I had never heard of. The foyer has charming couches, love seats, and chairs while the walls are beautifully decorated shabby chic. Through the foyer is Eclection, a nostalgic boutique, wine bar and coffee shop that offers up local artists work for sale while strolling along with a glass of wine or coffee in hand. And while the atmosphere downstairs is calm and soothing I can hear laughter and music above me. Venturing back to the front foyer I see a red rope clasped off at the staircase while a polite gentleman asks me if I came to "Breathe" and I respond "with all the delights downstairs I feel like I already have"! He laughs and invites me upstairs. As I round the top of the stairs, saying this as a 45 year old, well traveled, artist and socialite, I take a deep breathe and smile. The crowd of people here are mature, alluring, and gleaming. The decor is relaxing and that somewhat reminiscent of a vintage cigar bar. The lights dimmed low, candles lit throughout, the music loud enough to make you get up and dance, while the conversations run high. I approach the bar and the bar keep hands me a drink menu that roused my curiosity. Intriguing concepts that of which I hadn't heard of. I tell you this...4 out of the 5 imaginative drinks were delectable. All of them, somewhat of a meal, rather than a drink. I give the bar Manger 5 stars alone. Everyone behind the bar was not only proficient, but polite, enthusiastic, and best of all sexy WITHOUT stuffy attitudes. This bar had given me something I had not had in a while...enthusiasm to meet and mingle. It absolutely, positively, deserves 5 stars for being one of the best new bars, hands down, in the triad. Kudos, "Breathe".

I threw a bachelorette party for my girlfriend over the weekend here and it was a fantastic experience! The staff was very accommodating and the drinks were excellent and reasonably priced. They even decorated our table and the area around it, which I did not expect! The DJ/chef was hilarious and very thoughtful. The bride’s sister was pregnant and he laid down a cloth on the stage so she wouldn’t accidentally slip and fall. We will definitely be going back!

This is the best little bar. I love this place. Erica was my bartender and she is so great. She is super cool and makes amazing drinks. I highly recommend. Go check this place out and ask for Erica.

My Wife and I tried this spot for the first time and loved it! Houston is the man for sure! The drinks are amazing! We got there shortly after they opened and he gave us a little tour of the place. It’s definitely a vibe. We’ll definitely be back for sure!
