My Keurig decided to stop working this morning and I needed my daily coffee fix. It was quite a happy accident that it didn't work because a quick google search led me to find Local Roots. My fiancé and I wanted to find a local "mom and pop" coffee shop rather than go to a chain. Local Roots did not disappoint! The young lady behind the counter was super friendly and the coffee was excellent and very competitively priced compared to chain stores! We will definitely be returning to try more of their coffee flavors here. The place is super cute with a lot of local small business products for sale. Highly recommend stopping by!
After trying and trying to find bathbombs for one of my daughters who breaks out to EVERYTHING. My fiancée and I stopped in here yesterday to check it out. Along with everything under the sun, including fresh coffee, they had all natural bathbombs. I figured why not! Sure enough Layla did just fine with local roots! I would recommend this local shop not just for the coffee but for their other products!
This cute, hidden little treasure is absolutely fantastic for sitting down with a cup of coffee for any purpose that a proper coffee shop can offer. I went here with my friend and we had a great long discussion, there are many different rooms within the little house that this coffee shop is in and I could see myself sitting down here and riding for hours. It’s also a great little workspace get away from town if you want to get out of town but not too far! I am from Greensboro and I definitely plan to be coming here more often! Also the coffee is really yummy and they have special drinks as well as regular coffee drinks! Great staff, very friendly, welcoming, and an all-around great vibe!
Super cute place with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Friendly, helpful service. One of the best lattes I’ve had around this area!
this place is so precious! i have had the golden milk, lavender vanilla latte, and the rose petal latte and they were all totally to die for. the coffee is quality and their menu is so fun!

Kernersville needed a local place like this! Fixer upper style farm house with a cozy and warm atmosphere. The workers were so helpful and gave their recommendations. My girlfriends and I sat here for a couple hours just talking. I had the pimento cheese sandwiches, and we also had the California chicken salad croissant and pumpkin muffin to share among the 3 of us. I also got the salted caramel latte (AMAZING!) and got to try the lavender latte (ALSO AMAZING!) There are locally made art pieces for purchase and candles. Do yourself a favor and come here!!!! I can't wait to come back.
This is our new favorite coffee spot! Awesome little cozy place, coffee is good and people are nice. They just need more pastries! I think they would sell fast!
Wonderful local coffee shop that has brilliant style and clever iced coffee flavors. It is well worth an exploration. Notice Rose petal latte.
On my first visit, I ordered a sugar free coconut latte. I'm still thinking about it, it was so good! I'll be back soon!
