Always a greatplace for breakfast. Service is extremly fast and employees ar3 very nice. Good portions for a decent price as well
First time visit tonight. Wait staff very pleasant. Good food for reasonable prices.I got to have breakfast for dinner, my favorite. We will be back.
My Favorite.. This restaurant is one of, if not if, my all-time favorite establishment. My friend and I come here quite often and the food never gets old. Food is moderately priced, and the combo meals come with a free salad, side dish, and desert. You get what you pay for, and what you get is good old fashioned home cooking.
Friday Fish Fry. This is by far the BEST place to go for Friday fish fry. It begins with a choice of soup or salad, comes with the usual rye bread and coleslaw, your choice of any potato, all you can eat haddock or cod and a dessert from the pie case, usually homemade cheesecakes and torts. All for UNDER $9. What a deal. We are in and out within an hour. We love it. See you there on Friday nights!!
Delicious Whole Plate Pancakes. Their breakfast is yummy. After a recent ordeal at Landreman's Restaurant, we left still hungry and wandered into Kaukauna Family Restaurant. We've been there twice since then. Their service is friendly and fast, and their food is good for what it is - a greasy spoon diner with awesome breakfast. They have a huge pancake the size of a plate for 2 bucks that is filling on it's own, and it's delightfully fluffy and sweet. I adore it. We've tried two of their skillets as well, as they're fairly basic but reliably good. I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but the breakfast is yummy, and our waitress was wonderful.
Large portions, friendly staff. One small criticism though the person who took our drink orders didn't bring them to the table, when our server came to take the food order she also took care of the drinks, she was back with the drinks within a few minutes
Please note that this is no longer Kaukauna Family Restaurant. Jexi's restaurant has moved in! Since opening, jexi's parking lot has been full! Today was our first visit, and we will be back!
