ordered the 2 piece catfish combo, hush puppies, and peach cobbler. Was pleasantly surprised with the combo as I read some reviews while waiting and was apprehensive. Decent portions/sizes and seasoning was so good! 4 stars because peach cobbler was just alright
Great food and service but the time you have to wait for your food is ridiculous. Even if you order your food online or over the phone they still wouldn’t have your food ready when you get the location.

I've never had better chicken wings. Sounds exaggerated, but chicken is my number one and I'm critical of the process by which its cooked. J's wings are transcendent. Pretty sure the spice topping is lemon-pepper and brown sugar. So good it makes me feel dumb.

Pretty good chicken. Usual hood chicken spot but this one is a little above the rest. Prices are reasonable. Very clean. Nice staff. This one has bulletproof protective glass. While I certainly understand why, my sentiment is if you don’t feel safe in the neighborhood maybe try somewhere else. I tend to not shop at or patron establishments such as this but I’d say when I actually do visit this location, the food is great.
J's is my go-to on door dash. Their foods have great flavor and it's always fresh. I always order their chicken and fish combo because they are that good. Get their green beans are also amazing.
Listen - the spot is hood af but worth the food! The Catfish was hot with the lemon pepper seasoning. The chicken was ok. Fried harder than expected but good. Ill be back for sure!
