My husband and I ate at this ihop for the first time in a long time after seeing their advertisement for pancake tacos online. Though it was late and we got first rate service from our waiter, Chris. He was courteous and kind. He was attentive and made sure we had plenty to drink. He made sure our food came out the right and everything was delicious! The strawberry cheesecake pancake tacos were very tasty and not too sweet.Overall this experience exceeded our expectations.
My dad, I came here for breakfast today after a Dr appointment. The service was great. The people who worked there were friendly. The food was good.
My husband and I went to the IHOP that just opened in KC on Chouteau Traffic way. We walked in and was immediately greeted by the kindest woman, Vanessa. Her smile and positivity was a breathe of fresh air!
We haven't been to an IHOP in years and I have to say they stepped up their game, the breakfast choices were amazing! After we ordered, Vanessa was talking with us and I felt like I was visiting with family! She was so friendly, her smile was definitely contagious and she was a happy person to be around! She was very attentive and made us feel like we were her only customers.
The food, oh my goodness, was delicious! Everything we ordered was so so good! The french toast was the best french toast I've ever had!
The restaurant is very clean and inviting.
We can't wait to go back and I hope we get Vanessa! 🙏
5/5 stars. I came in to have breakfast and do some business. My computer did get hacked so don't use their WiFi. But Lindsay was amazing and very patient. And accommodating. It was very very nice, and highly recommend this IHOP, for a quiet-pleasant breakfast.
People like to pretend that iHop isn't good for some reason, but it's honestly one of my favourite places to go, if we eat out!
They're open late (literally always open!) and this one in particular is pretty quick about getting your food out fresh and it doesn't take hours! Recommend ❤
As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a smile! It was hot outside, our phone needed charged, & we were hungry! Our server was SO nice & knew the menu well. The cook knew how to cook! It was so good that I ordered food 'to go' so I could have a good meal the next day! I live in western KCKS & was just passing thru the area. I actually PLAN to go back to this IHOP again next month when I will be around again! I was impressed that plate after plate of food that came out of the kitchen looked so good! Our server was so very nice! Thank you, IHOP, I WILL BE COMING BACK SOON!!

We came in on Wednesday for lunch, Liberty was server. First thing I noticed when she approached the table was she had a strong smell of weed to her. After telling her what we wanted to drink she disappeared I had to flag down another server to get not only my drinks but my children’s drinks. When it came time to order there was still no signs of her so the same server who got our drinks took our order. The GM Tamika was walking the floor checking on the guest and that’s when I proceeded to tell her about my experience. She apologized and was very concerned about what had happen. Magically my original server Liberty came to drop off the check (which was the wrong one) Tamika then apologized again and asked Liberty to come with her as they were walking away Liberty shouted “can I just take my two day suspension since that’s what you like to threaten us with” I am sorry but I have never witness a server be so disrespectful to their boss in my life. One bad apple can ruin it for a lot of people. Thankfully tamika was very professional and made me feel better about maybe coming back and trying it again on a different day.
hot & fresh pancakes always. just like every other place, iHop has jacked their prices up. 3 meals was $50.
Visit here was totally for convenience sake as we had family staying at the nearby Harrah's hotel. I'm always good with breakfast for dinner and had the new Poblana Pepper eggs Benedict which was fabulous. ( A little too much shredded beef) I could have used some more hollandaise sauce but it was sufficient. The other party stuck to more traditional fare. The restaurant was clean and not busy at the time of our visit so service was excellent and attentive. I would definitely visit again if in the area.
I stopped in at this iHop a few weeks ago while in town and was completely disappointed and disgusted. The food was cold, the restaurant was dirty, the syrups on our table were sticky, which is a nasty thing to look at while waiting eat pancakes. If that’s what you see in your face, then what else is not being taken care of? The service was mediocre at best.
I stopped in again yesterday (5/12/23) and it was completely different! The food was better, things were clean, even the atmosphere of the restaurant had changed. Michael, the manager, stopped by our table to see how we were doing & if we were being treated well. I raved about the difference, and he seemed very pleased & grateful that we were willing to come back and give them a second chance! I’m so glad we did! Will definitely be making this our regular breakfast spot when we make our visits to KC!!
