The older lady is a little rude. But the food was fresh. The order was correct and it didn't take long. Food was delicious 😋 I got the 1lb orange roughy No 3 for $16.09 and 2 orders of the 1lbs fresh shrimp with corn for $10.49
I absolutely love love love this place, staff is nice and the food is ahhhmazing. Even living away from KC when I come back this is a must before leaving. Family favorite. Thank you for always providing fresh food that taste so good

The fish was hot from the grease. The atmosphere was very pleasant and clean.
I was mostly impressed by the customer service she was patient. We changed our order a few times but she remained professional and I have to say I was very impressed.
The food was great! The cashier helped us decide on the most cost efficient food choices. The food was good and hot. They gave us bread and tarter sauce with our fish. The fish and okra were seasoned well.
Always be aware of your surroundings in the area.
They do not offer dine in options. They are take out only. Overall, we were so glad that we chose Fish City. Go check them out!
Omg! Some of the best fish I've ever found at a neighborhood eatery. Staff are friendly & funny... as midwest homefolks can be. I ordered bassa...light, sweet, flavorful & cooked to fluffy perfection. "Slap-a-mama" fried okra & hushpuppies (if u know, u know. not talkin' violence here; just tasty😋good food)! Whether you live in the area or passing thru... make this a stop! And DO try the German chocolate cake.

I did not get a picture of my food because I ate it too fast! The food was A-1. I had fish, mac&cheese, potato salad, and lemon cake! It was delectable. 10/10, I do recommend.
I always get the orange roughy which is cooked very well. My husband always get the whole catfish and he said they cook it to perfection. We go inside to order just so there is no hassle due to seeing a lot of reviews about them not answering the phone.

Exceptional customer service and good food. They have a variety of different types of fish, chicken wings, deserts, etc., made by soul food cooks. If you're ever in the Kansas City Missouri area you should try it! I'm glad my cousin took me there while I was in town visiting!
