Best burger in town(they use McGonigal's meat), great taco's, hand cut fries, always a recipe for success. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere! My wife and I come here once a week.
Delicious burgers (on the smaller side) and good fries but they don't give you a lot. Overall good value though.
This IS Waldo. Walsh's - This is what a neighborhood bar should be! Quaint, friendly, very reasonable, good beer selection and by far the best Burger I've had in KC!
Limited menu but mighty tasty. Really good burger and home made fries-not frozen, cold beer...mmmmlovin it. Tiny place tucked into a corner, lively, friendly, a tad loud depending on the crowd.
Limited menu but the cheddar burger is the best bar burger I may have ever had. They use fresh Mcgonigles meat, cooked on a flat top, just fantastic. Well worth a quick stop in, get a burger and a Schlitz for just 7 or 8 bucks!
Every single time I go here, the experience is fantastic. They have great staff, no matter who is working. The food is wonderful. I especially recommend the cheddar burger! The prices are phenomenal compared to other waldo bars. The drinks are also also quite good.
Too tired to write a full review but will come back and edit! Our second time to this bar just today! So glad we found it! Super great prices on food and drinks-lower than anywhere around, service was over the top great(we were here on a Sunday and it was busy both during the day and late at night) we talked to 2 bartenders and they were both great and had our drinks to us before we even asked, which means my husband will be living here from now on, he loves that!! Fun games, a regular sized shuffleboard which is hard to find. Oh and random fact but the bathrooms have the NICEST toilet paper I’ve used at a bar. Dive bar prices, but not divey!

Looking for a dive bar, and moreover, an Irish dive bar? Here you go! The crowd is mostly 50+ but there's a few young pups that also visit. The prices are cheap and the drinks are stiff. Entrance and restrooms are accessible. Restrooms are gender specific. I didn't notice a menu but I saw someone eating, so guessing they offer food here!
If you like small quaint neighborhood bars with great food, this is the place you should go to. Catch burger night for a deal!
This is a bar! Don’t go expecting to be waited on like a restaurant and enjoy the food. The bacon cheddar burger was incredible. There seemed to be a lot of regulars and I can see why. Don’t bring your kids.

Food is great - especially the bacon cheddar burger, which is my go-to. Taco Thursday is a great and delicious deal. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the service is always quick and friendly. Relaxed atmosphere for a quick and easy meal and drinks. I love going here.
Not only does the staff make you feel like you're at home, but the bacon cheddar burger there and homemade fries from scratch or delicious! One of the best places in Kansas City
