The best in KC. Favorite donut shop hands down. The cake donuts are the specialty in my opinion, though the cinnamon twists are also excellent. Have never found a better cake donut. Perfection.
Delicious. I'm picky about my donuts and these are awesome! I had a taste of a cherry glazed cake, regular glazed & an apple spice. They were very dense and had great flavor. loved it!

Super Yummy!. Great donuts! They are super sweet though. Not that a lot of sugar was ever a problem but they are sweeter than other donuts like Lamar's. I definitely recommend giving them a try!
No question these are the best donuts in Kansas City !!!. Here is the deal. I have lived in many cities over the years including Austin TX , NYC, Los Angeles, Miami, St. Louis, and now Kansas City. Honestly, I have tried just about every donut in each location. Fluffy Fresh on State Line Rd. is hands down the best donut in Kansas City if not the entire US. After Fluffy Fresh every other donut is nothing but a let down. Unlike most other donuts, there is a certain taste/aftertaste to these donuts that lingers on your tongue in an incredibly perfect manner. My favorite are the large cinnamon twists for their texture,consistency of dough, and buttery taste. Also a must have are the maple long johns - the maple icing is like non you have tasted before.
I absolutely love their éclairs! Both the traditional chocolate as well as the maple. (The donuts on the other hand were not fluffy, they were very dense and heavy). These are not my favorite donuts in town, but I would definitly go back for the éclairs.
More stable than most marriages. Consistantly really good donuts-not fancy, just good donuts.
Personally, I still prefer John's Space Age Donuts but this place ranks at the top of your local donut stops.
Donuts were AMAZING!!! My sister and i went on a Saturday morning around 8AM. We got a regular glazed (best way to tell if you’re at a good donut shop 😋) the cinnamon roll donut and a maple long John (personal fav)!!!
Stop looking right now, don’t both going anywhere else for donuts in KC. Fluffy Fresh is, hands down best donut in KC. Drive from wherever you live and rest assured, it’s worth it. Donuts are so fresh and soft, classic donut shop vibes, and taste amazing. Try their glazed first then go from there. Don’t settle for less!
If you’re debating on trying this donut shop out- DO IT! I’m not sure which is more incredible, the staff or the fluffy donuts. I’d say get there early before all of the good donuts are gone, but I don’t think that’s possible as I got there at 8 am on a Wednesday and EVERYTHING I tried was simply amazing. 100% my new favorite donut shop for my cheat meal!
Been coming to this donut shop since I was a kid. Anyone who's a regular customer knows they SELL OUT QUICK because these are the best donuts in KC!! If you want your choice of donuts, get there when they open. If you think they're going to be open until noon, you're crazy - go to lamar's or some other actual chain to get your late in the day donuts. When these donuts go they are GONE! I make it a point to get there as close to open as possible. People come in buying dozens at a time. And no, this is NOT the same as the one in Merriam, KS. This is the ONLY Fluffy Fresh (or place in general) you need to get your donuts from if you are in the city.
Maple peanut cinnamon roll was Ah-mazing!
Slightly disappointed that there were no savory options (sausage rolls?) Coffee is just drip, don't expect fancy, but it was drinkable.

Been going here since I was a kid, they have been around since the 70s if that tells you anything. Their donuts are AMAZING! Maple bars, reg glazed, donut holes, these are my go2s! Seriously, try this place if you havn't, hands down the best donuts in KC!
Walked in they didn't have the type of donuts I was looking for. I talked to the person in charge. I said to come back the next day and it would be ready. And what happens? I come in to receive some of the best tasting donuts made. I thank her for the service , and the great attitude and making sure that my order was taken care of with great attentiveness.
Best donuts I have had in the nation so far. When I travel I always like to compare with other cities. Their twist is out of this world and their cake donuts are moist not like most that are dry and course. I went through and read all the negative reviews and only one didn't like the donuts. The biggest complaint was they don't take CC. Although inconvenient that's no reason to rate a one star. The donuts themselves are AMAZING. They aren't always open so call ahead. all that being said...Do yourself and your taste buds a favor and enjoy.
I used to live near this place when I was a kid and every morning at 4:30 am me and my papa would walk to here and I would get the cherry frosted donuts. We would eat them fresh with milk there and the memories were wonderful! The staff is always perfectly friendly and the environment is so rich with the history they have. I just wanted to say I found out you were still open and I will be taking my children here very soon in the AM! Pleaseee pleaseee keep being amazing people and making everyone’s day better with the love you put into these donuts! God bless
My grandpa was a donut maker and he had the best donuts. I got to have them at 6 in the morning when they just came out the fryer, and let me tell you they were so good. There was never a film on the roof of your mouth. Therefore , I am extremely particular about my Donuts. I found fuffy this donut about 15 years ago when we moved to Kansas City and they are absolutely my favorite Donuts here. I love love love love love chocolate long johns.
