We spent about twenty minutes walking the blocks of The Zona Rosa, hot, hungry and exhausted, stumbled into Bo Lings. First impression, it is very tastefully decorated. I typically do not eat Chinese while on vacation, but decided to take a chance(especially since my daughter wasn't taking no for an answer). I must say, I was very, very pleasantly surprised by not only the ambiance, but the "smoke" duck with Hoisin sauce. Oh, and Mr. Ray was a doll! I will certainly return whenever I'm near the airport. Don't worry, I've already told at least five peeps.

I absolutely loved eating here. As soon as we came in we were greeted by the staff and seated immediately. We came more towards the evening and the atmosphere was amazing. The music was not playing too loud like you hear at most places and the music choice was more relaxing. I ordered an herbal tea and had some pan fried dumplings. I was also surprised to learn that they make everything in the back of house and you could really tell. The food tasted delicious and had no after-taste of freezer burn. Our table server was also very polite and answered any questions we had. This was a very warm environment and will definitely visit again in the future!

I have been to a lot of Chinese restaurants and I will have to say this one is truly top notch. The meal selection, customer service, environment and presentation of the food was enjoyable. I went here for a first date, for the first time and I would definitely recommend this location for a meet and greet or business or family gathering. It is in close proximity to so many other department stores and events within walking distance.

Having lived in Kansas City my entire life, I've always known Bo Lings as a purveyor of an upscale dining experience. As I walked in on a busy Monday afternoon, amid the hustle of Christmas shoppers, I was immediately greeted and seated at a booth. The sun beamed in on a beautiful sunny day as I ordered Jasmine tea and perused the menu. I was in search of something beyond the standard lunch options, like soup, crab rangoon, and the usual ten-dish selection. I ordered the Cantonese pan-fried noodles with chicken and pot stickers. Soon after ordering, the tea arrived, and I spent a few minutes waiting as it steeped. The tea was at a perfect temperature, not too hot, ideal for immediate drinking. The pan-fried noodle dish arrived first. I noticed how fresh everything looked. Perfectly cooked vegetables on top of noodles, some hard and crispy on the edges, and soft everywhere else. The flavor and texture were outstanding. Next came the potstickers, notably large, far exceeding the size of those you'd find in the frozen section of a store. I needed to cut each one in half, and that half was a mouthful when drenched with the included sauce. There were eight on the plate, and I devoured them. My server was attentive and friendly, always wearing a huge smile. There’s really nothing I can criticize. I know the prices may be a few dollars more expensive than at other Chinese restaurants, but you can see and taste the difference at Bo Lings. I make it a point to visit the bathroom in restaurants, as a clean and fresh restroom often reflects the kitchen's hygiene. I found Bo Lings to have a nice, clean bathroom that smelled fresh when entering. When you find yourself at Zona Rosa with a craving for Chinese cuisine, I highly recommend Bo Lings. On my next visit, I’m eager to try the mo shu.

I’ll just drop this right here: best Chinese food I’ve had in 6 states. Had several different dishes and egg rolls and all of it was amazing. Don’t pass this up if you’re looking for great Chinese style food !!!

Good variety of some staple Asian cuisine. We ordered the shrimp fried rice, shrimp lo mein, veggie spring rolls, egg drop soup and their create your own stir fry. Portions were significant and with the price of almost $20 per plate I would have expected no less. Flavor was good although had to add a little salt to taste but overall friendly staff and good food. Veggie Spring rolls were my favorite. Would definitely recommend.

We walked in on a Saturday with a party of 8 and didn't have to wait. The service was phenomenal. The food was delicious. We all got a different entree to sample. Their crab Rangoon are really good and on the savory side. The egg drop soup was delicious. Pictured: Mai Tai and Cashew Chicken.

Very nice appearance and clean . Waiter was attentive but slow (large party of 8) The Food was well worth it large protion sizes and some of the best Chinese I have ever had ! Not one in a group was even slightly disappointed I strongly recommend the crab Rangoon and the dumpling apps the dragon wings are good not spicy but a odd taste now the mustard Wassabi sauce ! A DAP WILL DO !! I had the Mou Shu pork and it was great (pancakes are tortillas but thinner) the sauce was okay but not my favorite (not a big sauce person anyway) overall great food it is pricey +$30 per person with app !

I visited Bo Lings with a large group. I was frustrated as I'd called ahead and despite being very empty, they were not set up for our group. It took a while to get the tables pulled together, and then menus passed, waters served, before our cocktail orders were taken. I had spring rolls which were tasty but inconsistent, as they were pork and shrimp but some had neither protein and others had one or the other. I also had moo shu pork which was good. In general, I think everyone enjoyed their food. We also had some birthday dessert.
