This place is so fun for its delicious cocktails and ambiance! I Love that it resembles a speakeasy as it takes you back in time to Prohibition days in KC. I would definitely recommend this place to bring a friend from out of town for a unique spot. My favorite cocktail is the Red Bell!

Another check mark for my bucket list. This unique historical speakeasy was a true delight! We entered from the back alley, continued down the steep staircase and down a very long dark hall to a beautifully dimly lit room filled with candles, and luxurious booths. The cocktail menu offers a half- dozen classic and a dozen house cocktails that keep up with the seasons. It was cool, dark and mysterious! Our bartender was awesome. I had the Devil’s advocate, Atlas cocktail and one of their season innovations with cucumber and gin. It was all amazing! The food was scrumptious and I ended the evening peeking my head into the men’s bathroom to see where Al Capone once stood to pee. It is definitely a MUST go in KC!

A fun step back in time. Just like the speakeasy from prohibition days. Enter from the back alley and go down the long dark stairway to the dimly lit bar. The snacks and drinks are all top shelf. My wife and I tried several of the seasonal drinks and a couple of the shot drinks. All excellent. The mixologist/ bartenders were all very friendly and informative. We had a blast!!

Probably the best cocktails I've had in KC. Basement location and ambiance give it a cool speakeasy feeling. I always bring my friends visiting here from out of town since they always seem to enjoy it.

Very intimate cocktail bar in the crossroads in KC. It is slightly hidden in the basement of The Reiger Hotel. To get there, go to the back of the hotel in the alley and ring the bell. The bar is lit by candlelight and there are several tables and booths. The cocktails are tasty and range in price from about $10-13.

LOVE this is speakeasy cocktail bar. It’s located in the basement of the Reiger Hotel. If you can get in, you’ll have a fabulous time - excellent and dangerous drinks served here!

Manifesto was amazing! I had the Smokin' Choke and the Farmhouse Fizz. My fiancee had the Maya Bay and the Shatto Blanc. They were all very different drinks with great flavors and fantastic presentations! It's a sweet place, hidden off the beaten path. I recommend reservations.

Such a hidden gem!! An authentic speak-easy, full of history! Authentic hand crafted coctails!! I absolutely love going here and bringing new guests, it never disappoints! Make sure you make reservarions!! Also, if you have never been here before, ask for exact directions!! There is no sign, no door or anything to help you find it! This place is truly hidden!! It will be hard to navigate with high heels!! The Manifesto is a KC landmark!

This place is a hidden gem! I can’t believe I didn’t hear about it sooner. The bartenders are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is excellent. The candlelight and fun bar tending techniques really make the place fun. I had a gin drink with red bell pepper and it was easily one of my favorite drinks I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to come back and try it again 😍 Be aware that the entrance is around back of the Rieger hotel on the opposite side of the hotel bar. Someone will come let you in and escort you downstairs.
