*Go when they open so you don't have to wait a long time to get in!*
This place is all about the amazing atmosphere for the kids. There are always trains running, lots of things to look at from your seat, the kids loved that you ordered over the phone, and having your food be delivered to you by train is a must-do. We had smiles on our faces the whole time!
The food is fine (shakes were great, burgers and chicken fingers were good, hot dog was so-so), but you don't really come for the food. We'll absolutely come back on our next visit to KC!

I got the Gen's Dare twin. Two patties topped with hash browns, mustard pickles and grilled onion. It did not disappoint.

All the reviews said it was great for kids, but it was just as enthralling to a couple of 30 year old out of towners.
Obviously the train delivery system is the main draw, but the miniature train traveling around different KC landmarks along the wall of the restaurant, plus a complimentary conductor hat really sell the bit.
The food itself is pretty standard fast food diner quality, Steak ‘n Shake or Sonic comparable.
Overall, one of our favorite stops while visiting Kansas City, highly recommend!
Fun place, trains drive around the ceiling and they lower your order down to you. Fun little place. Food was okay, for the price it's definitely not worth the little greasy burger and small portions of fries but you're really paying for the experience the trains give you. I won't go again, but I would recommend bringing your kids for a burger and fries, they will definitely enjoy the trains.
Needed a quick lunch so i placed an order for pickup. Tried the Keely burger, it was pretty good for a fast burger. The fries didn't taste very good though- maybe old oil? Friendly staff.
Looking for something to eat when walking around near Union Station and I saw it pop-up, so glad we walked over and went in. The food delivery train system was *extremely* amusing and I couldn't stop laughing at how ridiculous it all was. Food was good too and the price was cheap!
Good food not great but good i took my grandson. He loved it, food is brought by a train to your table but know entrees are sold without fries
Fun place for the littles. Took the 2 grand babies and they had a blast watching the train deliver the food to the tables. Simple menu with burgers , hot dogs and sandwiches. Very busy but the food comes out quickly.
Took my five year old granddaughter after a visit to Sea Life. They atmosphere was great. Very busy. The service was great. It's a little hard to hear while placing your order one the phone. I got the Gindare which is a cheeseburger with hash browns and onions. It was decent. My wife loved her barbq chicken sandwich. The onion rings were delicious. My granddaughter had a kids meal cheeseburger. No complaints. We loved the place. Very fun.
This is a great place for a family with young children. Or for just anyone! The burgers are fine. You're here for the trains!
