Went out for an evening of shopping in Zona Rosa and finished it off with dinner at Granite City. Food was phenomenal, service could not have been better, and the service was very fast. The final touch was a waitress that knew both the food menu and the beer menu very well and had nothing but helpful info to send our way! Thanks for a great meal!
Easter Brunch was amazing!! We had the best server I have ever came accross, I believe her name was Mary. This girl needs to be promoted! Thank you for making our Easter so enjoyable! First time doing the brunch and will deff be back.Food was awesome and the bottomless mimosas really were a great call.. My Son and Husband were very pleased as well. Way To Go Granite City Way To Go!!!
Do you need a 10inch warm cookie with a big scoop or ice cream? Yes. Yes you do. Great accommodations for any party size. Quick seating and friendly staff. And the management there seems like they care that their guests are treated right.
And of course the food was great. Had the Millionare Bacon Burger, great burger and the fries were portioned just right. They had food for every palate as well and the prices were well placed.
Would definitely reccomend for a night out, out of town vacationers or a work dinner.
We like the atmosphere at Granite City. It has a nice bar area. Not the biggest fan of their menu but we had a nice night out with desserts and drinks. It’s a perfect spot for drinks, appetizers and desserts after shopping in Zona Rosa.
CHOCOLATE CAKE [decadent chocolate layer cake with bourbon carame! sauce and a touch of whipped cream] & GRANITE CITY BIG COOKIE
[ fresh baked, house-made chocolate chip, toffee, almond deep-dish cookie with ice cream and caramel sauce ] we’re both fantastic!
Excellent service. Ordered medium Buffalo Buffalo, came well done. Bennie beer was good German bock style. Great aroma, but disappointing finish.
We went on a Sunday evening and there was no wait for seating. We shared the Idaho Nachos for an appetizer and it was delicious 😋 I tried the chicken and asparagus linguine which was so filling and yummy.
Hubby tried the millionaire's bacon burger and he really enjoyed it.
Sunday brunch buffet with breakfast and lunch options. Good service. Good restaurant for large groups.
The AC was leaking and dripping in spots which made the floor slick and slippery.
We've always liked Granite City! They have delicious food, great service, and yummy beer flights to try at a good price. We love the atmosphere as well!
This last Friday we stopped before a comedy show in Zona Rosa and my husband and I were both blown away by the quality of our food.
We've never had anything less than great food here, but this was more like fine dining.
Everything was perfectly balanced and the flavors and textures brought out everything amazing in each of our dishes.
We got the Prime Rib Dip sandwich (which we always love but was even better) and the Tuscan Chicken - it was also perfection.
Again - we always love their food and have a great experience, but this was on another level.
And, as always, our server was great and attentive!
We started meeting for our book club on week day evenings. There's always a lot of tables available and service is fast and friendly. We used to go for Sunday brunch which was always very nice. The restaurant is wheel chair friendly for both parking and inside. The food tastes good and they have lots of choices. I had the cheesecake last time and it was delicious.
We chose to go to Granite City for our wedding anniversary dinner. It's been a few years since we last ate here (pre-pandemic). Although the menu has changed a bit, we were pleased with our dinner. The meatloaf was very tasty, and so was the grilled chicken with asparagus and rice pilaf. Even though it was not on the beer menu, I was happy that the server was able to serve me the Admiral beer on tap. Thank you.
A Sunday brunch in a COVID world is hard to find. Our server Anna was amazing, prompt, and very engaging. The omelette bar had tons of options and the cook was delightful. The Bloody Mary was huge and tasted great.
My only complaint (hence 4 stars and not 5) was the prime rib was VERY CHEWY. The taste was great, just not as tender as it could have been.
I would still consider coming again and hoping the Prime Rib improves
After 12 hrs of traveling we stopped in 30 min before closing, the food hit the spot, but the bartender who waited on us was the highlight. She didn’t make us feel rushed (even though we were the last customers), was super personable and even gave us some suggestions for our morning in KC. I didn’t catch her name, but she’s originally from Soiux Falls and made our evening.
