We have been here for dinner and wine tasting. Their wine tasting menu was an amazing experience as the info you will get about wines are very informative. You will get to taste 8 different wines based on your wine category selection. Great food and service also. The wine tasting experience is first in first serve and it takes around an hour. Remember to book in advance for the meal/ table as it gets quite busy.
The server was very attentive and came back to our table several times. Both my main meal and appetizer were awesome. The blueberry wine was great, and I'm not much of a wine fan.
Words can't describe this place. My brother and I came out to here on a whim as it's our last night here and the place before was a bit of a bust. But like they say third time is a charm. Let me tell you this place is an absolute charm! It was busy but we seated by the bar which was perfect. We've never been here before so we decided to try out something new. Let's just say we're so glad we did. It's quite a read but I think it's worth it. Let's get to it shall we?
Getting started with the service, absolutely impeccable. There are no words. Forgive me if I misspell her name. But we had server named Adira. From the beginning she was wonderful. Helped us make some choices and they were phenomenal. She was so sweet and knowledgeable. It was decently busy and she had a full section but she was attentive and just all around wonderful! Not to mention she went absolutely ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!!!!!! I'm thee most forgetful person. I swore I had my car keys and we had left. As we were walking here she comes running to give me my keys. She is an absolute treasure of a person!!!!
On to the food. She gave us pretzel bread which was wonderful it smelled just as good as it looked. Crunchy crust and soft inside. It was perfect! We got the brussel sprouts as an app. They were delicious. Crispy, savory, with a to die for peanut sauce, burnt pieces were amazing. They are an absolute must!!!! Main dishes. My brother got the short rib risotto and I got the spaghetti and meatballs. The risotto was to die for! Creamy, cheesey, short ribs were so tender and flavorful. Absolutely perfection. Spaghetti and meatballs were wonderful. The meatballs are made in house, sauce was wonderful, and pasta cooked perfectly. Now on to a sweet note. Dessert! We got the s'more budino. Just wow. It's like you're transported to a lake house on a summer night next to a bonfire. Toasty marshmallow goodness with layers of custard it's absolutely must have!
Drinks were delicious as well. My brother had the cranberry sangria an I had the blood orange pineapple sangria as well. Both very much refreshing.
Atmosphere was wonderful. They were quite busy but it wasn't so loud you couldn't have a conversation. Staff were wonderful and accommodating. Definitely a place worth coming to. It's a little on the pricey side but damn is it worth every penny!
My best friend & I came for a wine tasting and dinner last night. Jessie, was the lovely waitress who poured our samples and gave us an explanation of all the the wines we tried. Jessie told us she was training, but she was AWESOME! We’re both newly 21 but Jessie guided us through all of the different flavors and what all of the little wine terms meant. She was so sweet & so fun!! Then we went upstairs to eat, and our servers up there were just as incredible! We had so much yummy foods and drinks, but the staff really made the night so great for us! Such an amazing experience!
We had a great date night at cooper's hawk and went all out the food was great and there were many things on the menu I'd love to come back to try. All the wine we had (7 glasses) was fantastic. We did a flight of wine to try a variety. Also my wife ordered the cholates and wine for dessert which was another flight of 3. They were great. Took no time at all to get in with a reservation and service was great
Very broad menu, and service was top notch. The food tasted great, but we felt a little upset stomach after. The meatballs were fantastic but a bit greasy or oily. Again, everything tasted great and the service was great. I was disappointed that it was reservation only upstairs, but there was no wait and we got in the bar area quickly. I think the upstairs was a bit nicer environment though. Pretzel bread was delish. Would recommend.
Very nice place, we enjoyed our dinner and the service was pretty good. My gnocchi were pretty good. I was too full to try dessert, so next time... The wine was very nice, had a good flavor and body.
We’ve been 3 times now for a getaway weekend and always have a great experience! We’ve done the wine tasting each time and we’re always impressed with their knowledge and friendliness. Twice we’ve had to wait a little bit to be able to do the tasting but was worth it. Generous pours. This past Friday we were at the bar without 2 minutes of entering. Definitely recommend!
First time having dinner at Cooper Hawk winery restaurant. Came here on a recommendation of some friends that are a member of their wine club. We tried a flight of the red and white wines for our family to all try. I thought the wines were good and had a nice variety of selection. I had the shrimp and scallop risotto and really enjoyed it. My wife had the short rib risotto, which was very good also. We split a couple desserts amongst our family. S’More Bundino, Banofee pie and Flourless Chocolate Torte. The S’More Bundo was the top choice, but all were outstanding.
Recently did a wine tasting. It’s a tremendous value for the money (probably one of the best values in the city) and all the selections were really good. Special shout out to Lindsey for her great recommendations. She’s a pro and made it fun. I am more of a red fan, and she was kind enough to steer my tasting that way.
My wife and I will be back soon!
