This tucked away eatery is a gem! The staff are so friendly, the food is delicious and the setting is peaceful. I had a whole pizza to myself the first time i visited and a lasagne the second time. The chef creates all of the elements (cheeses etc.) from scratch and you can definitely taste the love he's put in. He was kind enough to pop out and thank me for visiting again, bringing me a tiramisu!! Well! It tasted like heaven. Such a great place, i will definitely visit again when I'm next in Honolulu. Thank you for creating such a great menu and being completely vegan!
I absolutely LOVED this place. Such a local feeling in a not-so-local spot. We had the super model pizza sans cheese and it was STILL amazing. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be gong back. Yum! �

My wife is the vegan in our relationship and I'm the carnivore. From this standpoint alone it should be clear that I'm biased to restaurants that offer GOOD OLD FASHION MEAT OPTIONS no exceptions. Parking is limited on the street which this restaurant is located, we parked in the city garage parking which is metered. You need to walk around to the front on Kuulei Rd to get to the entrance. While there is an outside area that expands the eating options the inside is small and quaint, a very limited area with tables and chairs. Now your menu options are limited to a few things and they are priced on the higher end of ALOT of pizza places to be clear.
IF YOU READ THIS FAR, THEN YOU'RE PROBABLY WONDERING WHY I GAVE THEM 5 STARS.
I LOVE MEAT...But I had the best EXPERIENCE I've ever had anywhere vegan. I had the Greek salad which was amazing and huge. I can't believe I ate it all. My wife had the spinach salad and we ordered the Supreme Pizza. The parking, the price, the menu and small restaurant was SOOOO Worth finding. I loved discovering little hole-in-the-wall eateries while my years of driving cross-country as a truck driver on the mainland. This restaurant reminds me if those amazing finds, menu items were limited because they do it well and never leave you regretting it. The small restaurant allows you to have intimate conversations with others, the owners and your date. Although we didn't order the dessert, the owner TOM...forgive me if I got it wrong, gave us their tiramisu. I'm not sure what it is... But will say it was heavenly. Being biased as a carnivore, I recommend this delightful quaint Pizza restaurant to everyone.
Our second time here in 3 nights. 1 vegan and 1 the complete opposite. Both equally blown away by this pie! True Hawaiian was incredible. Salad was fantastic. Great food, cool staff and the right price.Try this pie!!!!
Excellent service and good pizza. The staff is super friendly and courteous. The pizza was probably the nicest looking pizza I've ever had.... super well placed toppings, the sauce super even, the crust perfectly even, thin and crunchy. I had a half supreme half true hawaiian. The toppings were good and plentiful. Id recommend the lo vin oven. Its a little hidden onside the bamboo hotel but, easily found. Definitely a solid pizza if your in need.
This was a phenomenal pizza experience! Staff was super friendly and the food was beyond amazing. For those that question vegan pizza this is the place to come because you couldn’t even tell the difference! The tiramisu was to die for too.
Down to earth and awesomely fresh pizza shop! It's tucked back by the pool at the Aqua Bamboo hotel -- don't be deterred, just pop straight through the Bamboo's lobby out to the back. Good variety of pies on offer, made fresh with fresh ingredients, and these guys do NOT skimp on the toppings. If you're looking for a casual, unassuming place to have great pizza in Waikiki, check out The Lovin' Oven.
Amazing pizza!! Hawaiian and pesto are absolutely tasty. Easy to find just walk into the bamboo hotel past the lobby and it'll be by the pool. Have cash, BYOB, and have a great time dinning. Worth the money!!

I feel compelled to write a review. This was the best pizza experience of my life to date. My husband and I went to The Lovin Oven after an off-chance meeting with Luana, who happens to work there. He was quite pleasant and answered a few questions we had about the area. I wasn't going to even have dinner but after talking with him I thought, 'why not'?
We ordered and Luana took us to a really cool seating area that gave us the privacy I didn't know I would need. I really scarfed down that pizza. I ate with indecent haste. I am so NOT ashamed.
We had a Greek salad and True Hawaiian pizza. It was so easy to get down that my husband, for the first time in his life, did not reach for the condiments. Everything was incredibly fresh and the flavors didn't compete with each other. It was a melody on a plate.
My hat is off to the gents that cook and serve at The Lovin Oven!! The service was excellent and I'm satisfied with the prices. Wonderful experience. Kudos and we will be back at least 2x before we depart the island.

Best Italian restaurant on Oahu, no question about it. 100% vegan, everything beyond delicious and made in house. I wish I could rate 5,000 stars!
We tried the small Greek salat and supreme Pizza (swaped olives -> tomato’s) yesterday. Both are awesome and unbelievably tasty. The bread to the Salat was so great!!!

We are visiting vegans and brought two friends here that are not plant based eaters. They loved it! We had a pizza half Hawaiian/half Supreme, a bowl of Alfredo Pasta with garlic toast, and a Caprese Salad - all we shared among the four of us. ALL VEGAN. Desert was Tiramisu - I am usually not a fan of that sweet - but this one was great. The place is cute, the food is great, the staff knowledgeable. Though - to be truthful - I found our waiter to be a little off putting. I mean, the guy was nice enough and all, but I actually overheard him repeating a comment I made about the Tiramisu. Hard to tell if he was mocking or sharing. Whatever. The food is great, and I am grateful for Vegan options on Oahu.
