Excellent fish tacos and service!!! Their salsa bar keeps me coming back!!!
The tacos were pretty big with a good portion of meat. Tasted so good!! Got the tacos Maui style. They were pricey, almost $5 a taco. That would be my only complaint, but thats all over the island.
Came here for lunch and were extremely impressed with the selection of tacos and burritos that were offered. The build your own was the perfect option to create exactly what you wanted. Chips are salsa were great too.
Great find! Coming from San Diego, I figured it would be tough to find a decent taco in Hawaii, but these guys nailed it. I've had the shrimp, grilled fish and veggie so far. All so good. The veg has these wonderfully spiced potatoes. In all my tacos, I have never had that flavor and it was great!
Salsa bar is great. The medium spice pineapple is my go to.
Oh and their drinks.. they serve this kale, pineapple, ginger thing. I swear I'd go just for that.
Staff is friendly. Lil bit of a wait for food, so not quite 'fast food', but it's fresh and well worth it. Not that service is slow, by any means.. stop by after the beach. You'll love it.
Great street tacos. Great sauces and meat choices. I loved the variety of salsas and the side of chips my meal came with. That was a nice bonus. Great service, short wait time and easy atmosphere.
Great selection of Mexican food in Kailua. Tacos were delicious and the sides had healthy portions. Line took a while as well as waiting for our food to be made but it was a busy Friday night so it’s expected. They’re open later than most places in Kailua so that’s a plus if you’ve had a long day of swimming. There’s also outdoor seating that’s covered as well.

Food is good, they allow in restaurant dining, will just need vaccination card and ID. Enjoyed a 2 taco beans and rice plate, with bottled coke, for around $17.00 . They have shared outdoor seating with Teddy's Burger (about 6 tables).
I came in just after 7 pm. From the outside, it seemed like a lot of people were in line but it went quickly. I did not wait more than 5 min to place my order. After placing my order I took a seat and waited less than 10 min to get my food.

LOVE Maui Tacos! A decent number of choices, very good flavors and large portions (for Hawaii).
From a native Arizonan, I know tacos and these were wonderful! I had 3 crispy tacos Maui style with Kalua Pork, and they were very flavorful and well balanced. I appreciated the lime wedges to add some acidity and bite, and the side of chips had just the right crunch.
Be sure to grab some salsa from their bar on the right! I recommend grabbing their pickled peppers and veggies too, for some added crunch and flavor. Their hot salsas were not too hot, with either chipotle peppers or chile de árbol, so don't be scared! If you prefer a fruitier salsa, they do have a pineapple one that's mild with little heat.
The food here is excellent if you're hungry for some Mexican inspired food 😋
I wouldn't necessarily rate it as 100 percent authentic as it has that Hawaiian twist, but nonetheless, it tastes great.
