What a surprise when you walk in from the outside you’ll feel as though you have been transcended to another place entirely. From the amazing music, staff, gorgeous belly dancer to yummy craft cocktails and exquisite Mediterranean quisine. Definitely an amazing place to unwind with your hookah...we had never been so we were treated with the tropical blend of vanilla, blueberry with hint of mint. This was so refreshing and interesting! I loved this date night with my husband. Highly recommend. Saad and Feras are entirely too kind and the kind of gentleman who treat you like family from the moment you meet them. Go and hang for a night, you won’t want to leave.
Highly recommend the entire menu, food is delicious every visit. Love their weekly specials that include food, drinks, and new hookah flavors. Tall drafts are a steal at, around $5. Hookahs are nice and even use name brand tobaccos. Always a friendly vibe. Usually busy, but not too long of a wait. Would be great for early dinner, date night, family outing, study sesh, Birthday bash, and etc...

Had a great meal! Don't let the strip mall exterior fool you, this is a great little place. The food is yummy--fresh, pillows of toasted pita go wonderfully with the creamy hummus. Spicy fattoosh salad is accented with crunchy pita pieces. And the lamb kabobs were tender & juicy, served with fluffy couscous. And the have iced mint tea! The wait staff are friendly and attentive, and very glad to see you. The smoke from the hookahs isn't't overwhelming as it is in some places, and they have a big patio space where they seat a lot of the smokers. We will definitely be coming back here!
Great food, great hookah. Can be quite busy, but the service isn't too bad considering the sheer volume of people they usually have. The have great deals on coals and shisha every mow and then, too
Only one word describes Sahara cafe...awesome! Good looking, competent people serving up amazing hookahs, fairly priced drinks and incredible food. John, Megan, and zach are probably the three coolest people I've ever seen, anywhere, ever. There is no other place worth going in Jax. Every time is legen...wait for it...dary! Zach told me an awesome joke about jelly and jam, and john made me the best hookah I've ever had. Five stars. No, six.
Say hello to Feras!. This is probably one fo the best hookah places in town and while the owner and kitchen crew are great, their waitstaff has such a high turnover due to the fast-paced experience and customer volume. So it seems like you're meeting a noob with each visit. However, DON'T let the noobs get you down, just let Feras (Owner) know if something's up. DO try the jibneh and a blackberry hookah with a merlot filter or coconut with a milk filter. They do wonderful things at Sahara and the entertainment can vary unless it's Ranetta, Karolynka, or Rebecca (Zahra).
Hookah Time. This is my favorite Hookah Lounge in town. The food is good and they have the best hookahs in town. The price is spot on and the service is fairly fast for a hookah lounge. This place has got atmosphere it's not quite as nice as the Casbah but it is more convenient then Casbah and cheaper than Casbah, that is why this place is my favorite hookah lounge in town.

I am rating soley on food. The tzatziki was phenomenal!!!!!!! I'm not a fan of humus but it was good. I loved the falafel but I didn't like the sauce it came with I prefer the tzatziki with it. The spanakopita was savory and delicious, the marinara had cilantro which adds a fresh spin. The Chicken Volcano Melt is huge! The fries are cheesy loaded with chicken and the ranch and hot sauce pair perfectly! Our tummies were happy after our late dinner! The decor is very eye catching and beautiful!
Went here with a friends night out. We had the best time. The food is cooked to perfection with a fun , lively atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Service is amazing. This is the eight time I’ve ate Mediterranean food and all I can say is wow delicious. The hookahs are pretty amazing as well. This is my new spot

I've been going to this hookah lounge for years, management is AWESOME! The service is EXCELLENT! The Hookahs are always good quality. The food is delicious! a great place to me new friends.
It was a wonderful experience. The bartender we had made a creative alcoholic drink for us to experiment with. It was so much fun. The lights came on at 1:40am. Which kind of feels like a notification to prepare to depart, and it was totally cool. This is a great spot to be, but definitely sit at the bar if you can for expedited service. We were seated at a table for 10 minutes and had not gotten our drink orders nor hookah orders, however we are vets and very unbothered by the negligence. It wasn't even that bad. We just moved ourselves to the bar for service and BOOM! Instant customer service and attention. Our only wish is that we could have moved to the bar sooner, and have cubed coals, instead of the circular ones, which do not provide heat for a long period of time. The short-lived experience was good. No severe post or blog here. I have 5 stars for the experimental alcoholic drink that had glitter in it. Yes!

This place is just another VIBE, once you come inside are always similar faces, people studying, doing arts, or even playing cards while smoking. The music is chill and isn't a crazy loud bar, it's a peaceful nice place to hang out. I love coming there, having a seat at the bar, and asking them to create a drink for me. They ALWAYS make me happy with the creation of drinks, they are super nice. I become friends with this Brazilian girl who works there, and she is awesome with the customers too. The Mediterranean food is AMAZING as well. Me and my husband I love to come to this bar and we say, this is our favorite spot in town.
The best money I've spent in a restaurant in a long time. When covid hit, my eating experience outside of my house went south. Thanks for bringing me true to center.
