The hibachi grill is good. The items at the stations are good and fresh and are kept nice and hot, not cold like you get at some of the other buffets. Service was good, it is a buffet after all. One of the better Chinese buffets in town.
The best Chinese/American/Hibachi grill in Jacksonville. I've been to four other Chinese buffets and this wins the gold by far. They always have a fresh variety of sushi and the waiters are always cheerful. I really love the outdoor seating and my only negative is that my friend and I have both got dirty silverware and cups before.
I love all the foods. Verry affordable. That cheese wrap is A MUST TRY!.
Here for lunch with my 10yr old son. Staff are pleasant and quick to seat and bring drinks out. (slow to refill though) We arrived at the start of lunch and the buffet was all set up ready to go. We had sushi (included in buffet price) and then set about sampling every dish on display.... Of course we couldn't manage! Lots to choose from, your traditional Chinese / Asian dishes and A seafood area with oysters, shrimp etc. fruit and salad bar, hibachi grill area and pizza, American food available too. Overall quality was good. Sushi was very good and lots of selection there. My only complaint was temperature of food, our rice was a little cold and so was a couple of our chicken dishes. The staff have all their food safety certifications on display, the restaurant was clean and tidy. I will definitely visit again. The food selection was good, excellent value for money, I'd score an 8/10.
I really like this buffet. I normally do not like Chinese food but their Mongolian grill line is fresh and you can make it just like u like it. And their crab Ragoons are consistently good. Their sushi is way above par of a normal chinese buffet with a sushi chef making it behind the counter. Would definitely recommend. :)
This has got to be my favorite resturaunt in Jacksonville.Clean,great food and selection at a great price.Trust me you won't be sorry for checking out this place .....Awesome!!!!!
If you like Sushi, hibachi, and asian cuisine period, you'll enjoy this place! Now I love a japanese steakhouse but it can get a bit pricey

I enjoyed this place. The food wasn't phenomenal but it did have good flavor which means had I not shown up 30 minutes b4 they closed it would have been a lot better. The staff was super nice and deserve all the kudos. Why not 5 stars you ask? Well simply put 5 star designations are reserved for businesses that meet and exceed the expectations even if it's last minute. Buffet places just can't receive that if I show up close to closing. I will try them again and if it changes during the day then sure I will raise them up. As for the $$$, this place was only $13.99 for the buffet and that included crab legs. 😲😲. Yeah, with a price like that all I can say is thank you and I'll see you soon for more good food.

We went to Royal Buffet Hibachi & Sushi on Monday from 1:30-3:00 pm. We were seated promptly upon entering the restaurant. The hostess took our drink order & left the ticket on the table for our server. Our drinks were on the table when we returned from getting our food. We ordered Two Hot Teas & One Water to Drink. I got Fried Rice with Vegetables, Rice Noodles with Vegetables, Sesame Seed Balls, Egg Roll, a Small Piece of Fried Fish, Honey Dew Melon, Cantaloupe, Orange Jello, an Orange Slice, Two Half Scoops of Mint Ice Cream, A Few Sugar Coated Peanuts, & A Small Piece of Peanut Brittle. The fish was not thoroughly cooked, the cantaloupe was not fresh, the ice cream was nasty where people had not rinsed the scoop between kinds, the water to rinse the ice cream scoop was nasty, & outside the front door needed sweeping & papers picked up. Everything else was either perfect or very good. The tables & floor inside was very clean. The buffet lines were clean, the hot foods were hot, & the cold foods were cold. The server picked up our dirty dishes quickly & nicely. She was very nice & business friendly, but not too friendly. My husband ate Green Beans, Sweet Potato Soufflé, Fried Tomatoes (I think), Bananas with Red Sauce, Honey Dew Melon, Red Jello, Butter Pecan Ice Cream, Cookies, & Several Other Items I didn't get a good look at. He said that his food was all very good, except for the fried fish not being fully cooked. He also complained about the ice cream & its area being nasty. Overall, we were very pleased. The price had gone up from our previous visit when it was Hibachi Grill & Buffet, but seemed to be fair. Since the server brought our drinks & removed our dirty dishes when we put them to the side of the table & would be cleaning the table after we left we gave her $3.00 tip. We feel that's fair. We were able to stay longer time because they were not super busy. So we didn't lock up a table the server needed for more customers, because there were plenty of vacant tables. Also, we didn't see but maybe one person from the previous crew working. All the employees seemed to be on their toes & staying busy. We will return & will tell our family & friends about the changes in the restaurant for the better. Thank you for a very enjoyable lunch. Xia xia nyee!
My family had a wonderful time eating here, we stuffed our bellies until we were stuffed. I'm vegetarian, so when I heard we were going to a sushi place I wasn't so happy, but I found some things I was happy to eat.Some people say they had bad food but I guess that's because they came much later in the day or they came at a bad time. We came little while after lunch.
I love to eat at Hibachi , they have a variety of mariscos incredible , cooks chicken on different ways , they also offer fish, salmon, beef and if you don't like what you see, they have a grill offer where they cook for you what is on the cold bar. On top of the dessert from fresh fruit to pastries. All of this for a very good price. I recommend Hibachi to all.
Prices have gone up a bit, but this is still one of our favorite hibachi places in Jax. They have the hibachi grill, some sushi, and lots of standard Chinese buffet items. Sometimes they have crab legs and crawfish. Usually nothing too crazy. Food is usually pretty good, but I do wish they had more sauce options for the hibachi
Best Chinese buffet in Jacksonville. Sushi is better than expected but the real star is the hibachi itself. Desserts also consistently good. Bring the coupon.
This Buffet restaurant offers some special food , you can find the large size sushi, some seafoods , fired eggs , bean sprouts . Delicious dessert and more the chef cooked the dishes with less sodium and oil . So I taste it more natural than the other restaurant, also you can enjoy the beautiful lake view by your table. Movie theater and shopping center around here , perfect for family coming here . I recommended .
I went there yesterday 01/31/2015 and it was great, I´m not a seafood eater, but the terriyaky chicken was good and also they have italian beaf. They have really nice desserts and ice cream. I´ll definitely go back. I´ll rather go there than Golden Corral.
Good Chinese Buffet w/ DIY Habachi Grill included. Not the fanciest place so don't expect PF Chang's quality, but can't beat the price for what you get. I have only been at lunch so can't speak for any other times.
